Sooo tired, but just cannot sleep!

I lay in bed for over an hour, dead tired, but the mind just would not **** off. I can't stand nights like this. So many things going through my mind. Not real sure what to do with any of it to turn it off. So, I thought i'd come here and whine to everyone...lol.  Naw really just trying to unwind and get more tired out so I can sleep.

Amoung the things occupying my mind are:
1. I really need a website designer. No matter how many times I re-do it myself, with a site builder program, I am just so not satisfied with it. But I need someone who knows what they are doing and can deliver in reasonable time, without killing my pocketbook.

2. I really need to tweak my logo which is the same as our group logo. But I want a way to make it just a bit more unique, while conveying the "you are not alone and you can succeed " message.

3. Trying to figure out the next steps to take to get my coaching practice off the ground. Both 1:1 coaching and group coaching programs. (later I will offer workshops and retreats for the wls population.

4. What my next step is in finishing and making available a product for my website that will be an awesome tool in helping wls patients be successful for a life time. This product will be only one in a series.

5. Getting things finalized for my upcoming live bariatric support group here in pueblo colorado.

6. managing to find a way to get away for some "me" time, which I really really need. I am hoping to make the OH event in September in Texas.

Ahhhh so many thoughts, such a small mind.. lol.
Well, you all have a great nights sleep, and I am hoping to do the same here very soon!

I Kathy will you Patrece some of my exhaustion.  I think I was typing last night, looked back over the last sentence I had typed and say a collection of gobblde gook (spellin doesn't really matter anyway).  Not entirely sure what I had intended to say in the sentence I was typing and positive I couldn't make any sense out of what was on the computer screen.

I will you my power to take a nap in any given position by just closing one's eyes.  I took one between paragraphs.  I understand what you and the others were talking about with the exhaustion.  I am there now.  Drink something, take pain meds if needed and nap.  Along with ankle pumps.

Another power nap and i'm back.  Officially off my insulin and way back on a lot of my pills.  OOOOOOlala.

patrece, i take sleeping meds and i have for years. right now i take one ativan and 200 mg of trazadone. this gets me 5-6 hours of sleep a night. i really need 8-9 to feel peak form.  might want to talk to your doc about it. i have had insomnia ever since i got sober, about 21 years ago. it has definately been rough. of course, i might of had it longer, i just didn't notice because i was passed out from the booze. lol  kathy, you are a hoot. how long are u taking off work?  please don't try to go back too early.  i did stuff too early and got a huge hernia to show for it.  i think i got mine at 3 months out, please be careful.   vick

My doc prescribed trazadone. Problem is it leaves me with a terrible groggy feeling almost all day the next day and all I want to do is sleep. I should have taken one of my clonazepam I guess. But was so tired I thought for sure I'd be out cold... go figure!

I am so glad the surgery didn't mess with my sense of humor.  Thanks ladies,  Keeping things short while my fingers get used to typing again.  I have picked up speed since my entries in the hospital.  I watched my fingers, they would or could not go any faster when I was in.  Take care, Hugs, Kathy
