I just got my hospital statement. my surgery cost 70,000. HOLY COW. I wonder if they over charge so the insurance company will pay more.

Yep, they always do with insurance companies, but that seems REALLY high even for a mark-up.
Aren't ya glad you didn't have to pay that!!!???

So glad I have insurance.  Guess I will know what my bill is in a few weeks.  Insurance companies always reduce the billed amount to the 'allowed' amount.
