Hey everyone how are you all? Today I am 2 weeks post-op. My menu consists of ff milk, blended cottage cheese,ff yogurt, and silken tofu along with the clear liquid diet. Sooooo Im feeling a little sad. Im not even really sure why but I just am. Maybe its the monotony of the diet. If anyone has any recipe Ideas for this stage of the diet I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
Melissa

First of all, read the latest group blog post, it may help you understand some of the sadness, aside from food issues.

Now, for me to help you with suggestions on recipes / food, I need to know what your diet is right now... Is it liquid? puree? soft? That makes a big difference in what I can suggest to you for foods.

My surgeon was very liberal on post op foods. The morning after surgery in the hospital I was served scrambled eggs and cream of wheat.

Maybe cream of wheat and thinnnn oatmeal could be an option for you? Do you have a nutritionist you work with for your wls? They should be able to give you lots of meal ideas and recipes.
Hang in there. It will get much better!  How much have you lost so far?
Big hugs!
