I have a dream

Well it's a start of a topic anyway.  Top of the morning to everybody.  I know Vick and Charlotte are busy having surgery.  Linda is at her sisters.  The rest of us can still be here and share.

I am scheduled for surgery 1 week from today, I will find out my scheduled time the day ahead.  Officially 35 shakes till surgery, the number is drifting downward quickly.  I need to find the camera and take some shots for my before and after.  This afternoon taking the pics.

Guess my dream is that surgery and recovery are done and I am on the losers bench.  Each day the dream is closer.  Toodles till later on, headed to bed for my sleep.  Check back later to see what everyone has to share.

Hugs, Kathy

The topic got my attention... lol. You dream is soon to be a reality! it has been terribly quiet and inactive around here. I wonder where all of our posting members have disappeared to? Sure hope they'll be back tho.

Have a great sleep Kathy, and I'll talk to ya later! 35 shakes... not bad!
Hugs!

Hello buddies!

Today was extra specially KRAPPY at work and it's gotten doubly extra specially KRAPPY since I've been home!

I not only wanted some peace and quiet tonight, but I really needed them.  My two daughters (9 & 12) seem to be hellbent to send me over the edge tonight.  The tension and stress in my neck and shoulders makes me feel like my head is just gonna pop off!

Enough of that ... on to happy stuff!

My surgery is less than 3 weeks away!  I will be staying with my mom after I get out of the hospital - until I get my staples out and feel ready to deal with my new life in my real world.  I am SO looking forward to staying at my mom's ... even if I will be in pain and eating baby food!! ... because it's just her and my step-dad there - quiet, peaceful, tranquil ... AHHHHHHH!  That's gonna beat a Calgon bath for sure!

That's all I have for today, buddies!  I hope y'all are all doing well and I'll be yackin' at y'all again tomorrow!  Take care!

OK Kim, you are getting a hug for starters.

Sorry bout the bad day.  Hormones, aren't they great, both yours and your daughters.  Puberty ages, lovely.  Get some Kim time in tonight, even if it is to put on headphones and tune out for 10 minutes.  Stretch those neck muscles gently and take a few deep breaths.  Lift your shoulders towards your ears and then relax them.  Roll you shoulders in circles, (forwards and backwards) like back in grade school gym.  Take turns gently looking over your left then right shoulder.  And while you are doing this imagine the bubbles from calgon filling up the tub and yourself soaking.  If you can, go ahead and soak.  Just lock the bathroom door and ignore any knocks.

Hope the rest of your days gets much better.  Hugs, Kathy
