Good job Charlotte,  I am not able to add weights yet.  Still on 10# lift limit.  Hopefully in a couple of weeks or so.  I can walk, and am doing that.

Today was a big day.  I drove for the first time since surgery, just a little around town.  The dogs and I went for a walk this morning, thought it was 1.7 miles, drove the route tonight, 2 miles.  Took Dennis out with the dogs this afternoon and got another mile in.  This evening spent 40 minutes on the treadmill, 1.6 miles and 273 cal left at the gym.  That's a total of 4.6 miles today.  Yehaaaaa...

It just got done with a thunderstorm, I sleep well with rain, hope it helps me tonight.

Keep up the moving everyone.

you guys have done better than I have today.  I went to Petco and got a toy for my devil of a dog.  I think she is in heat.  she is bouncing off the wall, the vet said she needs to be spaid if i wasn't going to breed her.  She is a mini pincher about 8 1/2 mos. old.  Boy she wears me out

I bet she does wear you out!... Fixing her will help tone her down a bit. Do you plan to breed her?
Keep chasin and playin with her, and you'll be getting a work out!

Take care chasing your wild child.  Hormones (dog or human) drive us  females wild.  Sounds like an appointment at the vet is in order.  Have a great weekend with your minpin Annie.

Hugs, Kathy

I got hooted at while I was out walking the dogs this morning.  Took me a few seconds to figure out which car the noise was coming from.  I heard some one calling "Kathy, lookin great".  Found one of the ob/gyn's that I work with behind the wheel.

Speaking of walking the dogs, we had our usual 2 mile walk this am, Dennis joined us for a 1.2 mile walk after lunch and this evening I found the treadmill.  Did 45 min at 2.7mph and left 363 cal at the gym.  Treadmill distance 2.1 miles.  Today's total 5.3 miles and two napping pooches.

I know Patrece is walking a 5K in the morning, anyone else have weekend exercise plans?  I will probably do the same as today.

Wooo hoooo... great to hear that huh? Great job again on the exercise.  Those little pooches must get pooped, good thing they only do part of that distance with you. Thier poor little legs would be worn down to nubbs. lol. Hows the pain?

Yep I have my 5 k in the morning. Then between the 3 airports, will probably get in another mile or so... Seriously, Denver is a hike even if you do take the train.
Plan to hit that beach Sunday late morning or early afternoon. I plan to get in a long walk on the beach. The sand will make for nice resistance! (hoping there will be a decent beach anyhow).

I was teasing Paul, asked him if we could drive the car in the ocean and see how long it would float... he wasn't too keen on that idea. He said it would ruin the radio...... lol

Have fun at the 5K today.  Dennis warned me that if I want him to walk with me today, it has to be before 2:30.  I will be a football widow as of 2:30.  He is working night shifts this week, usually sleeps till noon and then back to bed for another sleep at 6pm.  Depends on the football I guess.

The pain is OK, using tylenol when I need.  Still feel the largest incision a little from time to time.  Sneezing still really hurts, contracts all the ab muscles at once.  Ouch, only lasts for  a second, whewwwww.
