I have a friend who's dog walks with her on her treadmill. Funniest thing I ever saw.  Guess you have to train them to do it.

Hey Kathy! You are doing just awesome with the exercise! Ummmm I doubt the puppies would go for the treadmill thing, but if you try it, be sure to record it for us all to see. You might even win funniest home video with it. LOL.
Today I am being a little on the lazy side. I was up til 3 am with the scoots, and severe abdominal cramping. It was miserable. I got up at 8 and was back in bed from 10:30 am until about 1:00 pm. Much better today, but tummy still a bit tender. I am hoping I will feel up to a walk later this evening when it cools off outside, but am not going to push myself today.

Well, I made it up to the gym for my 30 minutes on the treadmill.  Didn't take the dogs along.  Grey and drippy outside, not weather for a dog walk.  Besides, I am sorta getting tired after the last shifts at work, see post below.  Time to take my meds and call it a night.  Nite all.  Hugs, Kathy

Goodness! After all those shifts and hours all stuck together, I have NO clue how you are still functioning, let alone hitting the gym! Great job! Wish we lived closer, you'd be a great exercise buddy! So, Now I have to ask...how much are you down now? You sure work hard and tow the line! I am so inspired by you and proud of you!

I am still feeling ill today. Just that blah and I ache all over thing, head swimming and such. Got in a small walk earlier, but think that is all I am going to make today. I am hoping I will feel much better tomorrow. This is just miserable.
My son and his wife came over with the grand kids yesterday, and I would have been worried about getting them ill, only it was my son I think that made me ill... I should have taught him, while it is nice to share, you do not share everything! LOL. They are suppoesed to come tomorrow for a few hours and have dinner with us, so I am hoping I am feeling more like cooking and playing with the grandbabies tomorrow.

Not sure myself on the function thing.  Auto pilot probably explains it best.  I think my body is realizing that the famine is here to stay, the scale has not changed over the last few days.  Seems like it is trying to conserve all it can.

My throat felt dry like sand when I left work, even though I was sipping a****er when I could.  Busy, the hours just flew by.  Better after I was able to sit with my feet up for a while and drink more fluids.

Now you know that kids are bound to share whatever is going around.  Take care of yourself.

By 9 last evening, realized that my eyelids weighed tons, didn't fight it, just crawled into bed, think I was asleep before the blankets settled.  Can't believe that I am up again.  3 hours of sleep is not enough.  Headed back to bed in a few.  My feet ache this evening, flat arches feel even flatter.

Long distance exercise buddies.  Left right, left right, keep the feet moving.  Night for now.  I will reassess the situation after the sun comes up.  Hugs, Kathy.

I work at a prison from 12 a.m. until 8 a.m.  There is nothing to do between about 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.
so I started walking around the prison yard for an hour or so at night. It was kind of boring until another officer trying to lose weight joined me. My boss doesn't care if we do this, he is very supportive. It gets my exercise out of the way for the day.  I have also been looking at getting a mini trampoline.  There is a diet and fitness guru on BBC America her name is Jillian McKeith and she has people bouncing on these mini trampolines for a few minutes a day. Apparently from my online research it is incredibly good exercise.

Good for you making great use of that time to get in some walking! YES I also have seen that the mini trampoline is a very good fitness tool. One of the biggest benefits from what I read is that it helps drain your lymph nodes of toxins that build up in them. the only way they drain is by that up and down bouncing action. Power walking helps some with that as does running, but me ..run... Hmmm I dunno! Let me know how you like using the mini trampoline.
Nice to have you in our group!

Great job getting out there Annie! Yesterday I got about a mile in, and lots of play with the grandbabies, until we got a call and had to run to Colorado Springs.
How is everyone else doing??
