Yep it sure is gonna be busy with the holdiay. I already got the turkey, but have to get everything to go with it. Still trying to get this place put together as well. Was hoping to have it further along by now...but thats life.
I am planning a visit to curves tomorrow morning. Was going to start getting back there today, but have an apointment in Colorado Springs for an endoscopy..Am considering cancelling, as the pains I was having went away several days ago, not to return as of yet.
Keep up the good work!
My walking will be replaced by using my Wii active. Man what a work out!
Hugs!

I try to walk 45 minutes a day (60-90 minutes on the weekend) at about a 3MPH pace.

I just started this past Monday on the Bowflex and I'm following the program in the book to get my body ready before going full bore.  I was thinking to doing the Strength Program eventually.  If anyone has a Bowflex can you comment on what program you find the best?

Thanks,

Kevin

i've recently discovered that i cannot exercise, i build it up in my head and when i come home it's all over.  My mom told me i need to exercise before i come home, i think she's right.  My doctors office for my wls offers a free class and free aqua class, i am going to try it,  I ordered me two swimsuits online today, i figure as i lose weight, i can still work the suits for a bit as the material hugs your body, the classes are 4 days a week,  maybe this is just what i need.

I worry about being looked at, stared at etc.. the nut assures me it's people like me and those who have already had surgery.. I hope this works so i can get ift and make friends.

Had my surgery last Monday and came home from the hospital yesterday.  I was walking laps around the floor in the hospital and decided to go out for a walk today at home.  Didn't do much, just walked about a quarter mile but I'll try again tomorrow.

Thought I would check in with a exercise and fitness report.  It's been a while.  lol.   I mean that in the sense it has been a while since  I checked in anyway and where I should be.  Believe me I have been busy with the workouts at curves.  I am sticking with the 90 minute workouts 5-6 times a week and trying to walk for a hour a day if the weather is permitable.   These old bones don't like to go out walk about when it is cold and nasty.   Started working on my painting project again so that will keep me quite active at home too for a while but want to get it done so I can get my house back in order before the end of February when my daughter and children will be moving back home with us temporarily anyhow.   I keep telling my hubby we will get a pedometer before spring so we can keep track of just how far we are walking or how many steps we make when we are out walking for that hour.   I can't wait till spring so we can walk every day.
Enjoying the taste of goal.   Down 117 lbs.

Great to see your post.  I need to start posting here for exericse again too.  Sounds like a wonderful plan you have set out.  Look at your ticker slip lower and lower.  Nearing goal.  I too want warmer weather for outdoor activities.  Pedometer is a good idea too.  I use mine most days.  Amazing how far I go walking about doing my job.
Waiting for Dennis to get off his computer so we can go to the gym for a bit.  I feel the need to burn some calories.
