hi everyone.  just got back from my morning walk.   Hope all is doing well.  Have to do some cleaning today and contend with my she devil, take care everyone, have a nice super day.

Hi Annielou, have you got the she devil tamed down yet.  The heat cycle must be nearly over with for this month.  Good you got your walk in.

I was at the gym early this am, 45 mintues on the treadmill, 475cal.  Just got back from a 2 mile god walk.  my babies are DOG TIRED.  The sun is setting so much earlier these days.  Snuck back in the dark.

Dennis and I walked the dogs around both lakes today, probably close to 3 miles.  The treadmill and I saw eye to eye, 45 minutes, 2.3 miles and 425cal.

Looking to see others share their exercise on here too.  Come on buddies, there has to be others trying to get in some exercise too.  Hugs, Kathy

Ok, tonight I admit, I can't do the treadmill for the length of time I have been doing.  Not sure what happened.  More pain by my waist on the left side.  Can't even reach my feet to get my socks and shoes off tonight, Dennis was handy to help.  Walked the dogs 2 miles after lunch, that went great.  Only 15 minutes on the treadmill tonight and I call it. Done for today.  Get me a dose of my narcotic pain med and off to bed.

Kathy, keep close tabs on that pain and do not let it continue past a day or 2 without consulting your doc. Also posted some ideas on what it could be in the other thread where you talkjed about this. Take no risks, and don't let this continue without following up at least by phone with your doc.

My activity consisted of sleeping and driving for the most part while I was gone, except, Saturday at the 3 different airports. Musta got in 2 or 2.5 miles between them...no kidding! Than Monday got in a 2 mile walk as we walked a trail to the board walk in cali. Ate at a little place on the dock, looked at some sea Lions and walked back to our hotel room.

Back on the activity tomorrow. Will have the grandkids from 2 pm until about 9 pm Saturday... That'll kick my butt for sure..they keep this grammy hopping. And ya know, when they say hop I ask how high...lol.

Thanks Patrece, read the other post.  Huggg your grandkids for me.  I feel a little better after a few hours of sleep, waiting for the sleep to strike again, then back to bed.

Got in some activity with the rest today.  Caught Dennis for a dog walk before getting to be a football widow again, almost had him talked into another this evening, it was raining and the game was delayed.  This morning, we went 2.3 miles at a leisurely pace, tonight walked the dogs 2 miles and just got home from the gym.  Rook it easy on the treadmill too, backed my speed off to 2.5 mph and burned 200 cal in 30 minutes.  No worse for wear and tear.  Got in a good 2 hour nap around 3pm too.  Let's see if I can catch Dennis for a walk again tomorrow, he declines most Sunday's just because it is sunday, for lack of a better excuse.

Well, yesterday I got in lots of activity, tho not formal exercise. I mowed our lawn, then spent the rest of the day chasing after my adorable grandbabies... now THAT is a workout if I ever had one! I also picked a bunch of plums off of my plum tree. Does that count? lol.

Sure it counts.  Things below my knees are still hard to reach for the time being.  Have fun with the grandbabbies.  Takes lots of energy to keep up with the little ones.  Love to bottle some of their excess to save for personal use on a tired day.  Hugs, Kathy
