how are u going to fuel those beautiful bodies of yours?  i'm with the yogurt this morning, lunch some smoked turkey and cheese slice.  last nite i made multigrain pancakes with pecans, butter and sf syrup.  i waited a hour and then i drank  a nectar protein drink worth 23 grams protein. a total of 80 grams of protein yesterday.  supper tonite is almond crusted flounder baked.  with some veggie. then probably a protein drinl about 10.  i am going to see my shrink today and then shampoo our carpet.  getting house ready for the recovery period.  that is what scares me the most is the pain during the recovery period.  thanks for all your support, it is really appreciated.  smooches, vick.

I am just doing the coffee thing right now. maybe later I will have some yogurt.
I think I am having caffine and nicotine withdrawls, sick tummy and headache.
Yesterday all the caffine I had was normal coffee, no caffinated sodas, tea etc. And most of the smokes I had I just let them burn up while I was chewing on a straw. A puff now and then to keep them lit, but only actually remember smoking 3 whole ones.
Took tylenol rapid release about an hour ago, and it didnt help... lol the coffee is helping some now tho.

Changed to vanilla today for my breakfast shakes.  Planning to head to the gym later on, after  .  Have a great one today.  Here for support Vick, you will get through this and then tell us how great you are feeling.  The recliner should help.  Dog walk depends on the weather, right now it doesn't look promising.

My activa yogurt will be breakfast this am. Lunch will be 2 thin slices of chicken breast, a small sliced tomato and 1/4 c of cottage cheese.
I am still debating on what to make for dinner, as we are having guests. BUT will have to get that figured out soon and get to the store for whatever i'll need for it.

Is your hernia a large one? It will be painful, but hopefully they will give you meds that will be adequate in covering the pain. Whatever you do Vivk, do not strain yourself in any way for several weeks. You don't want to end up with another hernia or undoing the repair to the current one. You should recover faster from this than from your open rny. It isn't as deep (invasive) But with the TT I am not sure how much that will change the recovery and pain aspects.

Hang in there.. it will be so worth it in the end. Big hugs to you!

Linda, hope that headache and tummy ache are better! Doing great with the smokes. Now... get some patches, get rid of em and get that RNY!
