Well my stomach is feeling better today! i went to dietary in am said i was getting enough protein  but i'm not blending food enough. she said i could talk to dr about  going on soft foods instead of puree.  Went to talk to dr. and they made me see him.  Dr. said I have to stay on puree and make sure i blend food more probably why stomach is so crabby. so, i guess i'll have to find a better way to blend food and slow down when i eat.  started walking with hubby in pm. i must exercise!!!!!! glad to hear every one is feeling better

have a nice day

Hey Robin! Glad to hear the tummy is feeling better. Good for you getting out for the evening walk!  Sorry to hear you have to stay on puree, but maybe it is a good thing for now, for the sake of your tummy. The slower you eat and the more you chew what you do eat, the better after wls. It is one of the keys to our long term success with wls. Assists us to stop eating when we are satisfied, rather than when we are "full".
Have a great day! Glad you are feeling better!

Robin,  Glad your tummy is feeling better... The key that helped me slow down my eating was to use baby spoons! Obviously you get much smaller bites and it made me think about eating slower and it made me realize when I did use a "real" utensil how much more I was putting in my mouth, and how much LONGER it required the food to be chewed and how much less pouch "stickage" I had. I am 29 months out and there are times that I still use a baby spoon because I KNOW there are certain foods that just are "easier" to eat and I have a tendency to eat them faster, and I PAY for it when I do.
