Ouch
Welcome to the losers bench Melissa! Glad all is well! I was really sore the first 3 days. Then for the next 3 or so, I was pretty tender, but much more tolorable. After that it just got better and better every day. I think after the first 6 days I only hurt for the most part going from one position to another, like standing to sitting of to laying or getting up from sitting or laying. Won't be long, and you will feel muchly better! Get lots of rest, get in all the meals and supplements your surgeon has you taking, and sip sip sip your water. Take tiny little walks as it prevents clotting and also helps to get the air out of your tummy. But start out with several tiny walks each day, like from one end of the house to the other.
Congrats on your surgery! ask any questions you have! Keep us posted on your progress!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Melissa Welcome to the losers bench!!! I was in pain for the first 3-4 days due to gas that had settled around my shoulder blades - compared to that the pain from the actual surgery was a piece of cake!! I was tender and had problems getting up and sitting down (as on the potty) or in a chair - could not bend over or contemplate squatting for about a week or two.
