Good Morning Bariatric Buddies.  I am up and at em for just a few more minutes.  Worked last night, just getting home a little while ago.  Checking in while I scratch my pom with my feet.  His fur feels like cashmere, oh so soft.  I did get a whiff of him after I got home.  The dogs waded in the lake yesterday, they smelly FISHY     today.  Dog baths on the agenda for after my nap.  Thank goodness for my CPAP.  The dog smell won't keep me awake.

Have a great day everyone.

Thanks for the good wishes.  Have a good sleep with your CPAP.  How lon have you had the CPAP?  I just got on last week...usually wind up taking it off around 2:30am...don't know why.

Had the CPAP almost 5 years now.  Makes a difference in my life.  Without it I need multiple daytime naps.  I didn't realize how bad my sleep was until I had the sleep study.    Now I am hoping to eventually not need the CPAP after weight loss.  Time will tell.  It is not the worst thing to use.  Time to hit the hay folks, back later on.

Hey hey... Something fishy is going on here ladies...Oh yeah its the dogs! lol. Ok I just woke up a bit ago, so i'm being corny.
I never had to wear a cpap, I had an overnight done, and all was fine there, but, what I did find our is I needed supplemental oxygen while I sleep. Its called sleep hypopnia. I call it lazy lungs. When I fall asleep, my lungs tend to relax too much and causes my oxygen level to drop too low. BUT i haven't worn the O2 since my hubbies accident. Got out of the habit while he was in the hospital and I lived there all summer with him. I should have that checked out again really.
ANYhow, I used to work for Lincare. Thats where I worked when my hubby had his accident. and I would set people up on cpap's and bipap's. I found in my time there, it is a rare bird that makes it through the whole night with it on, at least until they have had several years to adjust. Many actually took it off in thier sleep not even realizing it until they awoke and it was not on. For those people, they never seemed able to keep it on since they were not aware they were taking it off.
It may help to try a different kind of mask. Or have your spouse tie ya down  (teasing).
Have fun with the dog bathing... not one of my favorite jobs, but then i have BIG and stubborn dogs.
Have a great day all
