Not that I thought I wouldn't be lol. My surgery was very routine and uneventful...can't ask for more than that. I'm in A LOT of pain today, probably more so than yesterday even, but I'm getting up a little bit every hour and keeping liquids down just fine.  I'm not sure if I was saying anything to the nurses while I was out but the first thing I remember saying when I woke up was "No that's a fish sandwich!"  I have no idea what I was thinking! lol.

Anyway, Surgery was at 1 I was home by 7 and the rest is history! My goal for tomorrow is a short 10 minute walk around the block with my brother and nephew. My stomach is still growling but at least the pain of surgery is sort of drowning that out now lol.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes..they seem to have worked!

Hugs for everyone!

SUKIE!!!!!   Welcome to the losers bench! I about fell over when I saw your post here so quickly! Thank you so much for keeping us posted.  Prayers are powerful! So are good surgeons! LOL.
Take lots of little walks, but do not take too long of walks at first.  A mistake I made right after surgery was to keep walking as I felt okay, but by the time I did not feel okay, I still had to make the return trip!
I'm so happy everything went well. When do you go in for your first fill?
Ask anything you need to. I had RNY but if I don't know your answer...I WILL find it!
Big ole gentle hugs to you!
Patrece

Thanks everyone....I find I'm getting tired very easily but went for a short walk around the block today. I'm finding that even a few spoonfulls of yogurt make me feel bloated, I guess everything is very swollen in my belly. It's ok, helps with the not being hungry thing!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Sweetie, just make sure to take very small bites, and wait in between bites a little bit. Right now I'm sure your poor tummy can't handle much! It could be the yogurt just doesn't sit well at the moment. Maybe you need to give it a few days before trying it again? Just a thought.
