what did u eat yesterday?  what do u have planned for today to eat?  i am starting off with my yogurt concoction.  then for lunch i will have 3 oz of turkey with a slice of sharp cheese, 31 grams of protein there and 22 1/2 for breakfast.  supper will be a lean cuisine or some such, about 15 grams. then a shake for a late night snack of 23 grams of protein.  i might eat some almonds or a protein bar.  i am still over at my parents house for the next few days. i took dad to the doc yest and they put him on some new meds and the pa wanted me too stay with him a few days to make sure he is ok. i think i might have to take him back again today.  he is hurting very much. i brought my yorkie, hombre, with me (all five pounds of him). he is sitting in my lap as i type. hope u all have a great day. let me know what u  are up to. i miss u when u don't write. love, vick

I would definately put in a call to the doc, if that pain patch and whatever else is not bringing him relief! Did he get injured, or is this a pain he has had for a long time? Maybe the trip they took was too much for him?
Bless your heart for being there for him!
Dinner for me last night was very simple, but yet healthy and well rounded. I had One slice of smoked chicken breast (thinly sliced) One thin slice of roast beef (lean, deli) 1/4 cup of cottage cheese, One thin slice of Munster cheese and a very small tomato cut into slices. NO bread, just ate it all individually. My friend Oca (my dear sweet elderly friend) asked me, "so now what are you going to eat for dinner?" hehehe. I get a kick out of her. I told her that it was my dinner, and actually may have filled me up a bit toooooo much.  Then later in the evening I was feeling just a tad hungry again, so decided since it was getting later I'd keep it a very light snack. So... I had a small peice of watermelon. It was very refreshing and tasty!
I have learned over the course of the last 2 months, that if I am feeling huingry, even if it is right before bed, I need to eat something, but keep it light. If I don't, I do not lose weight. (Body goes into starvation mode) But I only eat if I am sure it is physical hunger and not head hunger. Where as earlier in the day, I have to really focus on getting in my breakfast and lunch, as i never feel hungry earlier in the day, but again, if I neglect to get these meals in, my body goes into starvation mode, and thats a baddddddd thing!
I am down another pound today... YEAYYYYY!!! Once you get a year or more out, if you are getting close to goal, the loss gets very slow. So each pound lost can be a celebration in itself!
Have a great day all!
