WHATS FOR FOOD AND FUN?

WELL WHAT DO U HAVE PLANNED TO FUEL THE OLD BODY TODAY?  HOW DID U DO YESTERDAY?  WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THE FUEL. I HOPE HAVE FUN AND AT LEAST BE PRODUCTIVE IF YOU CAN'T HAVE FUN.  REMEMBER TO REACH OUT AND HELP ANOTHER BEING. IT IS IMPORTANT IN LIVE TO GIVE OF YOURSELF.  I AM TRYING A NEW CEREAL TODAY. OATS SQUARES WITH STRAWBERRIES INSIDE. LOTS OF VITAMINS AND MINERALS. SOME PROTEIN, SO I WILL DRINK A SHAKE THIS AM TO ADD TO THE PROTEIN. EVER SO OFTEN I ALLOW MYSELF CEREAL FOR A CHANGE IN PACE.  I AM TAKING MY MOTHER TO THE DOCTOR AND THEN GOING TO BULLY MY DAD INTO LETTING ME UNLOAD SOME STUFF OUT OF THE RV. THEY CAME BACK FROM THEIR TRIP IN REAL BAD SHAPE. MY DAD IS SO STUBBORN HE DOESN'T WANT ANY HELP. HE IS 80 OR 81 AND I SEE ME IN HIM. GREAT!!!!!!  AFTER THAT I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WILL DO. HOPE U ALL HAVE GREAT DAY. TELL ME ABOUT IT. I LOVE HEARING FROM YOU. VICK

Sounds like you have a good plan for the day!
Me... well... Not such a clear plan in place yet. The phone has been going nuts this morning, and I did not sleep well last night at all! It was after 6 am before I finally fell asleep. Too much in my little bitty mind going on I guess.

I have a book I need to finish reading, so I can learn learn learn. I reallyyyyyyyyyy need to get busy pulling my website together. And writing some articles for it, i have not had time to write yet. I did write an article for the Obesity Action Coalition quarterly magazine (a physical not online magazine, although it can be accessed online too). It should be in the October OAC magazine, unless it gets bumped out ...lol  I need to do a couple of loads of laundry.

I am making stuffed peppers for dinner. I have adapted my recipe to be more bariatric friendly (cut out the rice and added other stuff). It is sooooo yummy!

I have got to find a way to get more organized. So much to do, and i end up chasing my tail with it all and that makes it hard to get things finished up. So I need to sit down for an hour or two, figure out what all I need to get done, and develope an action plan to get it done.
I wish I could afford to hire a website designer, that would help tremendously... But until then, its just lil ole me! lol.

Take it easy unloading the RV. Don't over do your knees!

Sounds like you two have a day planned.  Maybe more than 1 days worth of stuff planned.  Worked last night.  Had a protein shake at 0300,  SFCIB before sleeping.  Woke up with the feeling that my blood sugar was dropping.  That shaky, sweaty feeling.  Not a pleasant way to wake up.  Had a yogurt while I consider my eating options.  Feeling better now, I will make chicken soup from last of leftover cooked chicken.   That will use some of the veggies in the frig.  I will make the noodles separate, hubby likes lots of noodles, me, not so much, bring on the veggies.....  He still has no idea of what a carbohydrate is.

After eating, I am going outside to soak up some vit D while I walk the critters.  There is a new sight out there, blue sky.  Cloudy are light and puffy instead of grey.  Thought I was working nights all week.  Temporary schedule said so.  Nooooooo.  I was given tonight off so I could (have) to attend the yearly building wide inservice on Wednesday.  Lucky me.  I don't do well with sitting in a chair and listening to the same info as last year.  I am used to being up and moving at work.

Then of course there is the housework.  Guess I will start somewhere.  Have a good day.

Well, sounbds like you have plenty going on as well. The chicken and veggie soup soiunds good! So does the abcense of grey dreary days! Hope you and your furbabies have a great walk!

You hubby may never grasp the idea of a carb, and it may be more by choice than anything else, that he doesn't... lol.

I used to nlot care so much for the inservices either... and it always seemed to fell on my days off, so even when I did not have to be there, I had to be there anyhow... hated that! I do not miss those days at all!
