Good Mornin Folks!!!

Well, I was up super duper early, as I had a very hard time sleeping last night. Today we meet with the attorneys in my husbands injury case, and go to a settlement conference. We are not real hopeful of the outcome, as at the last settlement conference, it was just a big game. This is a very stressful thing tho, as it really gets my hubby in an emotional uproar. He feels like they put no value on him as a person when they play these games. He lost his sight in both eyes, was crushed head to toe and lives in constant pain, and they just play games with the poor man. So, he is an emotional mess these last couple of days. Which of course, is very hard on me as well. It does soooo hurt to see him suffer so much.  But anyhowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

patrece, i hope that by the time you read this, everything has gone swimmingly.  your husband and you need some closure and i hope u get it today. you are a nice person and i hate to see you go thru with this. remain close to your higher power today and everything will be so you can handle it. no matter how it turns out. take care of yourself. vick

Well, thanks all for your kind and caring messages. I am sad to say, this was yet another round of game playing on thier behalf. What makes it worse, is it takes us 2.5 hrs each way to get there, costs us gas, food, even to park in Denver.
So at this point, it is looking like it will be left up to a jury at the very end of August(that when the trial is set for). With a Jury there is always the risk it will not come out to our favor, But we felt it was worth risking the petty amount they offered, to get something closer to what he deserves. Whatever happens, we'll make it through. Maybe the reason it didn't work out today, is because the supreme one knows that we will do better at trial??? who knows???
All I know Is I can't wait to be able to get as much of this as possible behind us, move on in life, and especially my husband be able to begin to heal, accept and move forward in his life. And me really get moving in my passion of helping others in this wls journey. Ohhh I have such big plans there!
