Hi Everyone!
I have my initial consultation on August 13th. I am both excited and scared at the same time. I have tried so many things in the past only to gain weight back.
Anyone else been to Weigh****chers and had people reach lifetime after only 20 lbs??? I can't stand that.. I realized then that that was not going to work for me.
Does anyone have any advise for my initial consult??

Hello and welcome to our group!
I understand you mixed feelings. They are very normal. Most everyone has them. Just research research research. Learn everything you can between now and your surgery date. The more informed you are the better you will feel about it and do with it!
I have never tried w w as I knew people that had and it wasn't a good answer for them. So I just didn't go there.
My best advice to you, for your initial consult, is to get a list together with every question you can imagine, so you can address it all with the doctor, and get lots of info! Also, make notes while there, so you don't forget what was told to you and the answers you were given. Do not hold back on the questions that come up. You deserve to be fully informed.
Again...welcome to our group! I hope you will post alot! I look forward to getting to know you.
Please consider joining us for our monday evening chat. It is at 7 pm eastern. 6 central, 5 mountain, 4 pacific.
