Apology for my absence for a few days here.

I apologize for not being here for a few days. This week has been nutz, as we have been in Denver since Monday evening for "lawyer stuff".

For those of you who do not know, in July of 2007 my husband was in a horrific work accident. There was a collapse during the construction of a pre-fab cement structure, and it collapsed over and onto my husband. (a 22 ton cement piece). NO ONE ever thought my husband would survive the accident. I refused to believe this. He did survive thank God!

He was crushed pretty much head to toe. And also his entire face was crushed, resulting in the loss of both of his eyes, and deformity to his face. He had severe abdominal injuries, lung injury, injury to all limbs but one leg.  He had hundreds of fractures to his face alone, and many other fractures to toher parts of his body.

He has a personal injury case going on and things are starting to move in this case now. He is slated for trial starting on august 31st, going for 2 weeks. This entire week (current week) has been consumed with preparation for depositions, and the depositions themselves, which will be completed tomorrow.

This has been a long a difficult process for us both, So, that explains my absence. I apologize for this. I will be back in full force, when we get this week behind us!

For more info on my husbands accident, and pictures, you can look at his website at:

WOW!  That is definitely a horrific accident!  It is amazing that your husband survived this horrific accident.  You and your husband are very strong people and you definitely had GOD on your side.    When you said "horrific" you really meant it.  I wish you and your husband the best!

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Thank you for your good wishes! Yes.. it was horrible. It still is in many ways, but we are getting through this, tho its not always easy. We just have to take it a step at a time. I have learned through all of this that I am much stronger than I ever imagined!
