Hi everyone!!

I'm Linda and just joined the group last night.  I've been a member on OH since I first started my WLS journey last July and had my RNY on Dec. 10, 2009.

As of my 3 month post op yesterday, I've lost 53 pounds and am now "overweight" instead of "obese" and have lost 18 inches in my neck, bust, waist and hips.  WOOT!!

I took an early retirement from the Postal Service on New Years' Eve of 2008 for health reasons and am a self-employed Social Media Consultant now, working from home to supplement the retirement income.  I have two sons -- the oldest is in the Marines and deployed to Afghanistan and the youngest is a Sophomore at West Virginia University.  Let's GOOOOOOOOO, Mountaineers!!!

I've learned soooo much here on OH and have made several good, lifelong friends on here.  I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you, also.

Hi.  I'm Jess.  I'm a 31 year old teacher.  I've always been big.  I remember noticing it when I was five.  (sighs)  I'm having a gastric bypass on June 21.  There are lots of reasons for me to do it, but the one that really brought me here was my infertility.  My whole story is on my blog if anyone is interested.

I hope to become a part of things here.  Although my friends are supportive, they really don't get it.

Peace,
Jess

Hi. I have been thinking about this for a year since May 2009.  I am now working with a surgeon for approval of the sleeve.  Feeling overwhelmed bu glad I have a profile on here.
