New to the group need support

i had lab band surgery in 2004 and initally lost about 100 lbs. i was having a lot of problems with not being able to keep food down and was hospitialized several times. at this point my band is unrestricted and have gone back to my presurgery weight. i know that it was just a tool but as so many others i think i was hoping for that magic fix. Plus my surgon moved out of state and other drs will not take you on.  I am making a promise to myself that i will do my best and try to make better choices. just looking for support

i'm sorry to hear about your band the one thing remembeer the diet plan you were suppose to follow try doing that with some miner adjustments also don't drink liqueds while you eat your food wait an hour after to drink  i hope this can help keep your head up and keep trying that is all we can do with or without the band
