Feeling a bit better and less in a funk place.
I went to my PT last night and worked hard. He always works me hard which is good long-term for my knee but torture for the appointment and next day. I see other PTs massaging their patients and he is busting my behind - LOL. I really like him a lot so I have a good time as he is torturing me.
My eats for today are:
B - Coffee w/creamer and Splenda - 2 cups
L - Turkey sandwich
D - Turkey meatloaf
S - Apple w/1 slice cheddar cheese
S - Yogurt (If I'm still hungry so this S is optional)

Thanks Cathy...I've been off diet Pepsi since New Years and all diet soda since 1 st February. I'm starting to walk again and trying to not eat when I drink. I am taking baby steps. I started to get back on track in January...I used this site allot when I first had surgery, then feel away. I was ashamed to come back. But I just can't do it with out support. My hubby is awesome...but I need more😊
You're saying of "keep my head in the game" has helped me so much. This weekend when head hunger was screaming at me, I kept telling myself to keep my head in the game. Thank you so much for sharing that.

So you already have one day of being on track so keep building on that. Higher protein will give you satiety so you won't be as hungry.
How great it is that your kids and grandbaby are moving back!! You'll need lots of energy from being on track to spoil your grandbaby-LOL.

Welcome to BOTT. I'm glad that you joined and posted so we can support you.
Old habits creep in and unfortunately regain happens. We have a daily check-in and eats post. I encourage you to post to it. It has really helped me to stay on track. If I don't post it to all of you, then I don't eat it. I don't want to come in and revise my accountability.
Another suggestion is tackle one bad habit at a time. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to take on lots all at one time. For example, if you're grazing, drinking with meals, eating too many simple carbs, take one of those and stop it for a few weeks. Then move on to the next habit. Just having one or two days of being on track creates momentum to keep you on track.

I'm new to the group as well. Just joined the other day. I had the Sleeve done in 2012 and haven't had a very good year this last year. I haven't made it to my goal yet and need to get back on track as well. I "restarted" my higher protein eating Monday and haven't done too bad so far. The kids and grandbaby are moving back to town this weekend and we are helping so I'm sure that will be a challenge. We can do this!! We got this!!
Oh brother! Well I just posted today in Mondays post. Guess I lost a day. Not reposting all that so I'll just say plan is to keep my head in the game and eyes on the prize!
Hey you guys welcome back!!! You came to the right place for support and you took that first step toward getting rid of that gain! It is a one day at a time thing for me. Sometimes I just need to get through this hour. It helps to share and that helps us stay focused. Eye on the prize!! Oh and you don't have to say your pounds gained out loud here if you don't want to. No one here will judge you.
Hello everyone! My weekend was pretty good! I made pulled pork and was really good, lots of flavor which is what I needed!
Speaking of head hunger, it is true we need to get the things we should not eat out of the house. I opened a cupboard and was faced with a box of Rice Krispies. The thought of having that cereal stayed with me all day. Gee, really Rice Krispies? I'm giving it to the neighbor kids.
