Busy weekend. Fun day on Sunday with the family celebrating my daughter's birthday. How can she be 39. Did well with food at the party. Not so much when I got home. Had a disturbing phone call with someone and was not successful in regulating my emotions. Had a nightmare and woke up angry and scared. Needless to say I had quite the therapy session tonight after work. Am working on identifying my needs even if they can't be met. Anyway food for the day.

Great Job! It is a great feeling to be "out there again". You are a success!!
I just saw your post are you still looking for a buddy?
I had surgery in 2008, lost a little over a 100 but in the last couple of years I have gained 29 lbs. Which I really need and want to get rid of. I am going to be 45 and able to exercise. I have no children just a couple of cats and a husband.

I started my couch to 5 k program yesterday. WOW was it horrible. I had the worst asthma attack and do not know how I got home. I only lasted 11 min yesterday but today I did it and was more prepared. I lasted 19 min today then walked 16 min to get home (all up hill :D ) I'm very proud of myself and the jump in my time. I know with the program you are supposed to only do it three days a week but I know from experience with my asthma in order to get my lungs ready for each new step in the program I have to do each step almost every day. I'm hoping that by sunday next week I can get through the whole 30 min program so that I can start the next stage next week. I'm really enjoying the running parts and just as it did last time I feel amazing. I'm sore yes but I don't care. It's wonderful to be out there again. Plus it's emotionally uplifting knowing that I'm doing it, I'm accomplishing something, I'm working towards my goals, and no matter what.. that attempt makes me a success.
Thank you everyone for your comments..This is such a struggle seeing nothing happen on the scale but I am still being faithful to myself, a battle I am determine to win.
I'm all set for tomorrow. Bought my shoes today and my wireless MP3 player should be here Monday. So excited to get this ball rolling. Took everything in me not to attempt the icy roads today. Lol. tomorrow will be better for jogging because it's supposed to be in the 40"s so no more snow. :D I'm going to set a schedule that I'm running at 5 am so that when I start working I am used to doing it before work. Wish me luck here I go.
