I'm very grateful that I am healthier because of my WLS. I'm no longer on chronic medications and I'm able to get on the floor and play with my grandkids and, I might add, get back up without help
I'm grateful for my supportive family, both immediate and extended. They have never given me anything but positive feedback and some have asked my advice on their own journey toward healthier living.
I'm grateful for my holistic nursing community. I get to enjoy certification in the field and the ability to attend conferences and seminars with some truly amazing people.
This was a great idea Cathy...Thank You

second chance at life, second chance at my marriage.
Health, Friends, Family,
This surgery has saved me in so many ways, I have never regretted getting it for one second.
1. My family im close with and my daughter.!
2. Not being so fat that i can actually go do things with my child!
3. Being more healthy than I was a few years ago. Aside from my hashimoto thyroiditis! that never wants to get better..lol
Thats what im grateful for!

To acknowledge what we're grateful for, let's share here:

I've been struggling with my knee aching so much. The good part of it is that in the past, I would have eaten over it. No, that makes no sense but I would have tried to make myself feel better by eating. I know this is part of the recovery from my knee replacement but it is very challenging.
I'm in a very happy and grateful place. I'm doing things with work that I love and feel passionate about. My hubby went out of town and my sons were amazing as far as taking care of things that he normally does. I am grateful for my family, my job and my health. Just writing that last sentence, I'm going to start a thread so we can share what we're grateful for.
My eats:
B - Coffee, 2 cups
L - Turkey sandwich with fresh spinach on it
D - Turkey meatloaf with salsa (Pace Mild)
S - Apple with 1 slice of pepper jack cheese
Keep your head in the game and BOTT!

As you can tell, I love quotes. "Keep my head in the game" and now yours "Empowering myself to make smart choices." Thanks!!!
