L - cold shrimps, no veggies ( I know...)
S - protein drink
D - chicken, steamed veggies, coffee
Today has been VERY busy !! Then after work I have to go home and price some things for a garage sale !! Swore a long time ago to never have one again, but my son and his wife are trying to adopt a foster child and will use whatever they make to go toward the $40,000 or so they need to pay lawyer. So I am digging deep to help them. Besides, I need to get rid of stuff !!
my eats for today........
breakfast......protein coffee/cheese/ham
snack...........laughing cow cheese/3 crackers
lunch............turkey, cheese, on rye bread......baked chips
dinner..........corn beef and cabbage/cornbread

SO today's kick in the butt is I lost a filling. :-(
Personally, I dread the cost of the dentist far more than the discomfort of the work to be done.
SO I'm all stressed out, the paint on the wall is starting to look very appetizing.
when you start working really hard - you break - damage the muscles - that causes inflammation and water retention...
but- sometimes - when we work really hard we also increase carbs - just a few extra carbs in day can increase how much water our body will retain.
one relatively carby day - and I may see up to 4-5 lbs on the scale..but 2-4 days of very low carbs and the same 4-5 lbs would disappear.
Unless you increased carbs and calories - most likely it is inflammation due to really hard work out.
(BTW - I had colonoscopy - and i had to do 2 day prep - ) I only had black coffee, tea, chicken stock and the horrid mixture I had to drink - and i gained 12 lbs in 2 days (water retention due to salt and chemicals) . it took me a week to get rid of tha****er...

Sounds exactly like me. I eat right and exercise more than ever and gain. My doc actually put me on Belviq. Not that I think its working. I'm not seeing any change. :( Keep your head up and DONT QUIT......
Couch 25k and I'm on week 2. I've gained 7 POUNDS!!!!! how is this even remotely possible. I'm hardly eating and working my ass off doing this couch to 5k. I'm doing it 5 days a week and walking an extra 20 minutes on top of the 30 min run walk. I'm so broken hearted and want to quit. I'm just so lost. The doc is going ot give me diet pills and i'm hoping that works cuz i need something.
Looking forward to some good reading, and I know it will be!!
Head in the game today. It was close a couple times though. Gee I get tired of that.
