Don't quit! You're doing just what you need to do. Unless you're eating too many carbs, those 7 pounds aren't true 7 pounds of weight gain.
Try not to weigh yourself. If you didn't know what the scale said, I think you'd really be much better off. You'd feel great about all you're doing and the changes you're making. That is more important and matters the most than what the stupid scale says.
Hang tight and don't quit. If you want to quit something, quit the scale LOL. Keep your head in the game and do what you're doing.

No, you're not being too nosey! I appreciate your concern.
Today was a pretty good day - not as strong aching and I slept which is wonderful to have some relief and rest. I have an appointment with my surgeon on 4/3 so I'll know more then. In the meantime, he prescribed a different antibiotic which is really strong.

I think today I have felt less obsessive about losing the regain. I decided I have the right to be happy no matter what the scale says. It somehow took the fear and shame away. I continue to be accountable and to eat only when I am physically hunger and stop when I am full. I need to relax. I am showing up and not giving up.
B-omelette with scallions and peppers 1 egg and 1 eat white
L-salad and chicken with olive oil
D-salmon and spinach
S-2 oz cold leftover salmon
I do believe my T4 does not convert properly to T3 . so I take two different meds. I eat some carbs on top of whats in veggies and fruit idk our bodies are weird!!!!
so sorry.. while on a diet - the thyroid can get worse - much worse.
Plus if you follow low carb diet - then your T3 may take an additional drop even if your body has enough T4.. very common in low carbs population...
I do believe our body needs insulin (plus other minerals and vitamins) to convert T4 into T3.. low carbs diet = low insulin = low T3...
I follow low carb diet - and my TSH and T$ are good, my T3 is super low.. (below normal) T3 is the active form of thyroid hormone.

WOW! Thank you for that insight! Being on my thyroid meds and working out and eating healthy I fugured my thyroid levels would be better.... NOT THIS KID! They plummeted go figure. So more meds and that damn diet pill....
B: 1/2 cup spaghetti and 2 meatballs (i made them)
L: 2 oz chicken breast and 1/2 cup cottge cheese
D: chicken stir fry cooked in coconut oil.
Went to the gym and got half of my water in! Have a great day everyone!
