Topic: Week 2 BOT - Lost .90 Pounds

I lost 4 pounds week 1 and .90 week 2 - almost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I had a goal of 5 pounds in 4 weeks so feeling good. But need to hold the line...water weight gone and now down to the real deal ...but happy with my progress!

Well, after a less than stellar weekend - I have to admit that weekends are a struggle for me.  They're less structured and I am so busy! I'm still trying to get back on track and eat healthier.  Just listing what I ate *sigh* Yeah, I can see my mistakes.  So here's today.  Upon listing what I had planned, I realized that I was getting too many carbs and not near enough protein, so I'm not going to eat what I brought (left over brats) and go to the café and get a salad with grilled chicken.

Breakfast: country sausage (not the best choice, but I haven't been able to find the chicken sausage I prefer. I'm going to have to come up with a better breakfast that's filling and fast), coconut milk creamer

Lunch: Salad with 1 egg (if it's available), chicken and lite Italian dressing.

Snack: Greek 100 yogurt with 1/4 cup pumpkin seed granola

Dinner: 1/2-1 cup chili made with lean beef and bison and beans, 2 mini sweet peppers

snack: 1 banana and 1 Premier protein shake (strawberry's and cream)

Food for yesterday was much better!

Brunch with friends: coffee with almond milk, 3-4 oz. beef tenderloin, a few bites of cabbage, 1 mimosa

Snack: Hummus with hummas chips

dinner: 1/2 cup chili made with grass-fed beef, bison and beans (Yum!), chipotle montery jack cheese, 1/2 fritoes. 1 beer.

My Saturday didn't go so well.  We went to a water park and, well, :-(

But I've promised to be honest about my food so here it is for Saturday

Bfast: Sonic - Chili cheese coney - only ate 1/2 bun

Snack: 1 sangria, 5 tortilla chips

Lunch: Pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw - did not eat bread

Dinner: (German) Had potato soup (broth based, not cream), 1/3 bratwurst, 1 beer (Dunkle)

The good news is that even after a 18 months, my stomach is still small.  The bad news is that I struggle to make good choices when in a hurry.

I was missing you.  It seems to get lonely here on weekends.  Your walking exercise is really really good.  When I exercise and gain weight it is almost always water weight.  I think my muscles get sore and water goes into them.  After they heal I lose weight...just like you did. I always say I feel like a 600 lbs. person inside too.  When I watch that show, I have the same cravings as 600 lb. people.  You are doing great, Jbug!
