Last night didn't go too well. It looks like my 22 year old neice has been fired from her job - or at least they aren't giving her any hours. We took her in, trying to help, but I'm starting to get worried that she can't hold down a job. :-(
Today's food -
b: pork tenderloin, black coffee
s: 5oz spicy v8, deviled egg
l: either salad or bunless burger with veggies
s: quest bar
d: left over steak on salad with balsamic vinegrette

Another tough situation. Does she know what she wants to do? There are great jobs for women in engineering. If her math skills are not up to par, she can take math classes at a community college before starting engineering at a university. She could check out the Society of Women Engineers. She is young and needs some guidance in whatever she is interested in doing with her life. You are a kind aunt to help her find her way.
I need to find my way to eating myself thin. One day on and one day off...I am frustrated with myself. I did get to the gym yesterday and I did clean 2 bathrooms yesterday. I ate too much food again though. I swam 150 yds today. Have a great day, Tri
My food plan so far today:
B: Jimmy dean delight
S: Plain Greek yogurt and a salad with fat free Italian dressing (lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, 2 clemenitne oranges and sunflower seeds
L: stir fry: pork tenderloin, pineapple, Asian veggies, rice and quinoa
S: Greek yogurt, string cheese and a clementine
D: stuffed green pepper, quinoa and rice
S:veggie soup and Greek yogurt
I didn't realize that about insulin. I'll need to check with my doctor about alternatives.
Thanks for your note. Five pounds in 2 weeks is very good. I'm impressed and jealous. I know what you mean about the will power and motivation not being there. It really is a struggle every minute. I weigh myself in the nude too. I appreciate your support.
Ive been going to the gym all week long and putting in extra time in there. gone from 192.0 last Wednesday to 187 to today.
I want to pump it up so today is about protien shakes for breakfast.
Snack is an apple and water
Lunch will be another protein shake
snake will be a cutie or two.
dinner: up in the are. It's Costco shopping day for me since I've been at the gym then go home to deal with home stuff.
I will get on the scale on Fridays from now on.

A little late this morning, but that's OK. Yesterday went very well. I even went out and helped my son practice his baseball hitting for an hour. Yeah! He wants to do the same everyday and at least it gets me out and about.
Today's food (and plan)!
bfast: pork tenderloin
s: 1 oz peanuts, 1 deviled egg
lunch: 4 oz pork chop w/ gourney cheese, 3 mini bell peppers
s: 1 quest bar
dinner: turkey meatballs with korma, spinach salad w/ blue cheese
Luckily, I'm not getting hungry at night!
AWESOME! Hey we need to keep on pumping the work out and left think about our meals.
I did most of my meals at home this morning. I hope its a good day for you and all of us.
Last week I was 192 and this morning I was 188.0
I must work out harder and drink a lot of water!

Wow!!! I hope it gets back to normal for you. I missed your posts. You are fortunate you only gained 1/2 lb. I have been logging food on Mayo clinic. I am consistently eating 400 to 500 too many calories. It just happens. I need to eat less. How simple that sounds. I have been fluctuating up and down a couple of pounds. My plan today:
B: 1/2 cup left over PF Cheng's rice and chicken
S: my berry cheesecake (ff/sf) and a salad with ff dressing
L: left over rice, chicken and veggies
S: Greek yogurt and a peach; veggie soup
D: beef, tomato sauce and quinoa
S: nut protein bar, avocado and salsa
I apologize for disappearing. As I mentioned earlier, we had to deal with bedbugs at the first part of the month. Since then, my son had a bike accident that left him looking like we beat him, we started an intense 2 month audit at work, I got caught in a flash flood and my brand new BMW (which I hadn't even made the first payment on!) ended up hydro-locked and needs a new engine. Thank god for insurance!
So as you can well imagine, eating healthy went bye-bye. Luckily, I didn't gain much - just a 1/2 pound - but I don't feel as good as I wish. Yesterday I went back to tracking carbs and am doing better. So, with that in mind, here is my food plan for the day
bfast: skinny latte, 2 oz pork loin, black coffee
s: 1 deviled egg, V8 Juice
lunch: Kung Pao chicken, 1/4 cup rice (left overs)
s: quest bar
dinner: 4 oz steak (left overs), spinach salad with blue cheese, hard boiled egg (I got a pre-boiled pack of eggs from cost-co. Lots of eggs this week!
