One day at a time - one meal at a time...One candy will not make us fat...one candy every day - together with other foods... may...
I don't even want to tell how bad my choices were yesterday... But that was yesterday, 2 meals.. today is a new day..

Went off the plan yesterday afternoon and ate a candy bar. :-( But being honest is part of being accountable so there's the truth. Here's to today being better!
Bfast: 1 hard boiled egg, salsa, 1/4 cup mixed nuts
snack: v8, babybel cheese
lunch: working lunch, unknown
snack: salad
dinner: baked chicken breast, green beans
snack: sleepytime tea
Hello all!
Yesterday went well, although it was emotional and I did end up eating a single serving bag of corn chips before dinner. Other than that, things went well. The pasta sauce was a bit to salty for me though.
Today's food plan
bfast: skinny latte, 2 hardboiled eggs w/salsa
lunch: jerked chicken bisto salad
snack: v8 and babybel cheese
Dinner: grilled chicken breast w/ asparagus
before bed beverage: chai and sleepytime tea w/ milk
Happy Monday!
The weekend was tough. Mainly running around and having to eat out due to so much going on. Big changes going on, with my niece deciding to move in with her mother. I'm worried, because it isn't a healthy environment for her. But part of being an adult - and letting someone be an adult - is acknowledging that they make their own decisions. Even if I think they're bad ones. *sigh*
Anyway, today's food plan . . .
bfast: skinny latte, Oscar Meyer P3 Protein pack
snack: (if needed) protein shake
lunch: left over chicken bryan and fettuccini from Carrabba's
snack: V8, babybel cheese
dinner: (experimenting in the kitchen) a 'pasta' dish with zucchini and yellow squash for noodles: Italian sausage, squash, 4 cheese marinara.
snack: Chai and sleepytime tea w/ milk
Sorry I missed yesterday, but all in all I've done well. I have been meeting my step goals and sticking to my food plans fairly well.
Today's food plan
bfast: Skinny latte, turkey bacon breakfast sandwich (Starbucks)
lunch: Turkey/mango salad from Costco
snack: hummus, cheese, v8
dinner: unsure what family plans are. :-/
Yesterday didn't go so well. I don't know if it's my cycle or the cold front or what, but I had a tough time with cravings - chips specifically. :-( It was . . . not a good day. I just seemed hungry all day long!
Here's hoping today is better
bfast: Skinny latte, 1 biscuit, 1 turkey sausage, 1 bacon, 1/4 cup gravy
lunch: Sante Fe Bistro Salad
snack: Quest bar
dinner: Ham, green beans, apple
Snack: Cup of sleep time tea with milk
Yesterday went very well. I stuck to my food plan, although I didn't meet my excersie goals. :-( I also had a nice cup of hot tea with milk last night before bed. I slept like a baby. So well, that I over slept, so I didn't get to grab my morning snack. but I think i'll be OK with out.
Today's food plan
Bfast: skinny latte, sausage breakfast burrito with picante sauce
lunch: turkey w/ mango salad
snack: quest bar
dinner: Have no idea! I didn't get anything started or set out to thaw! I do have a spiral cut ham, but it will take two hours to cook. I'll ask my niece to get it started. If she doesn't think she can do that, I'll ask her to set the frozen chicken breasts out to thaw. Meat and green beans for dinner!
Hello all!
I'm glad to announce that per the challenge to take off one pound and keep it off this past week, I did just that! Yeah! I also meet my 10,000 step goal for yesterday, although not for Saturday.
One day at a time, eh?
Today's food plan is a little hinky due to parent-teacher conference
bfast: skinny latte, 1 babybel cheese, 1 premier protein
lunch: Looks like chicken taco salad is on the menu. Yum!
snack: quest bar
dinner: at Jason's deli - 1/2 smoky jack Panini with side salad or soup
7,000 steps is awesome! I lowed my step goal to 8,000. I'm usually making it. I walk at work on my breaks so that helps! Thanks for the well wishes. I've lost 11 pounds so far. I'm very pleased with my results. I'm just getting back to basics. Proten, water, exercise. It's working! I tried to add you on fitbit, but I don't know how! LOL! Oh well... Good luck to you and yes, lets keep in touch!
