my plan for today........water✅Morning vits✅Walking started✅

Breakfast........protein coffee....lots of it.....for some reason, it was a three cup morning !!

lunch..............cafeteria food.......forgot my lunch.....it is sitting in the fridge !!  😜

                       I will eat a salad from cafeteria.....hope they have protein add ons today !

snack...............orange.......brought enough for the week yesterday !  At least I was planning ahead some

dinner...............fish, spahetti squash, and green beans

i hope everyone has a great healthy eating day !

Topic: Not making an ass out of myself as motivation

Well As you all know I'm struggling, I'm really struggling. I've about given up. TODAY I'm making a change. I registered for a 5k on May 30th and I start training today. Keep in mind I am completely sedentary. I do NOTHING but sit on the computer all day. A big work out for me is having sex with my husband or cleaning my house. I really do NOTHING all day. NOTHING. ok I think you get the idea. I do nothing. Lol. I'm going to start walking for a week. then I start my couch to 5k training. I am determined to do this and do it right. When I was losing weight on my own I was about 20 lbs less than I am now when I did my first and only 5 ****il this one. I finished the race in approximately 48 minutes. So my goal is to finish in 40 minutes or less this time. I have a 5 k training program on my phone and am going to start as soon as possible.  I'm very excited but terrified. i do not want to make an ass out of myself so that is my motivation. I don't want to be made ot look like a fool especially of my own doing. Is anyone else doing anythign like this? If not would you be interested in finding a 5k near you and trying to register for one close to the date of mine so we can do this together? I would love the support. Gee sorry you feel sick.  I always want comfort food then too.  Doesn't really make me feel  better just a head thing I guess.  I guess we need new comfort foods!

I haven't heard about cutting back on protein and increasing fat to boost the scale.  Can you share a little more info?  I am anxious to hear how it is working for you.  Some days I think the only thing that will make that d**N scale move is a shot gun!  LOL

I am having coffee and thyroid meds, lol. then breakfast might be a greek yogurt or scrambled eggs.  L: im guessing will be a tuna pack, and D: is up in the air, my daughter has her softball tryouts right at dinner time.go figure!

Home today sick.  Not flu sick, but inner ear issue sick.  Need to find ways to take care of myself without the comfort of food.  I still don't know why sick=food.  

B-omelette 

L-salmon 

D-turkey burger and spinach

S-almond butter

I have cut back a bit on protein and added some fat.  Will see if this gets the scale to move. I am still getting at least 70 grams of protein per day.  Still keeping the carbs at 20.  Doing better with my vitamins every day.  Water is also always good. Shoveling snow seems to be my new form of exercise these days.  Did quite a bit yesterday and hear more snow is on the way for the next 2 days.

Weighed in this weekend and no weight loss.  I really can't think of anything else to do.  Did some reading as suggested by someone on the forum and will cut back on my protein a bit to see if this works.
