That's a good idea Hala, I need to be prepared instead of just eating whatever is served and saying I will be on track tomorrow. I'm constantly starting tomorrow, Monday, after the holidays... I need to be consistent and figure out what works for me.

Good morning botts

The party last night was a lot of fun.  We danced to an awesome band.  Hopefully it offset the extra calories.  I gardened for an hour this morning. This afternoon we have another party to attend.  I love summer in Wisconsin.

B: greek yogurt and dried fruit/seed mix

L: pork tenderloin, quinoa/ grain Thai peanut

D: hors d'oeuvre sandwich, raw veggies, salad....skipped the cake :)

S: veggie soup, rice, mushrooms, onions, pork tenderloin

I hope everyone has a fun day today.  Tri

I used to bring tasty protein bars to any party. Like power crunch bars. They eat the cake - I had My bar, or 2.

A lot of times I was asked to "share" my bars ("can I try - Get a bite?"- some would ask me, ugh...).

Bring cheese stcks ( in my purse ) so I can eat something when my mouth is salivating while looking in the birthday's goodies.

I had 3 pretty good days low carb and then Saturday happened. Breakfast out and lasagne for dinner. Tomorow am going to a birthday party for my 5 year old great nephew, it seems there's constantly something going on this month. I need to stop making excuses and start making good choices. Here's to taking it one meal at a time.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend🌼

I know what you mean about being out of shape.  After 20 minutes of cleaning I have to do something sitting down.  Many years ago at a weight  watchers meeting, our leader told a woman to just walk to the end of her driveway and the next day to the next door neighbor's driveway and so on.  Just beginning is the big step.  We can do this.  take care, Tri

Topic: My Food Day

Started out the day so psyched!  Did wonderful...then came dinner.  Not too bad but not perfect.  Then, my husband, who I love with all my heart, came home with some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.  I wanted it/felt obligated to eat it.  BUT....had about an eighth of the carton and put it away forever.  I also started exercising a tiny bit.  (I'm SO out of shape...all I could do was 5 min on the stationary bicycle )   SO, not so bad and not so good but I'm happy with my first efforts to get back to myself.  It will get better and better.  I'm so happy I can report on my progress.  It really helps.  To those who are reading this boring topic, thank you so much for your support!!!

Topic: RE: Trying to Lose the extra POUNDS - Trying 21 DAY FIX --

Just wondering how you are doing. I started exercising twice a day this week. Haven't weighed yet but am hopeful for a loss (I weigh on Saturdays). I've never took exercise seriously. I am committed this time.

I just keep telling myself a journey starts with one step.

We can do it!
