The evenings are hardest for me too! I do so good during the day because I'm busy cleaning or doing errands. 3:00 is like the witching hour I can't seem to get full. I have a snack at 3 then dinner at 5:30. I try hard not to eat after that; however, last night I gave in and ate Cheerios with skim milk at 8. Oh well today's a new day I hope to get over this evening hunger some day.
Have a great day botters!
It's a beautiful day here in Indiana!
I was one of those people who loved ice cream but after surgery I can hardly get it down so when I really think I want some I stop at McDonalds and get a vanilla cone and still have trouble with it. I don't do this often or I would be in trouble. I to have started exercising and really I can do this it is a matter of wanting to. You all remind me that we didn't go through this surgery for nothing and I will keep trying. Thanks for your inspiration.
Am struggling but not giving up! It is typical...I do well until about 3:00p.m. I'm stubborn enough to overcome myself. think I'll plan my food for tomorrow and get myself busy at 3:00.
Today I did pretty good food wise and for exercise I walked Lola around the block, baby steps right? I did have leftover lasagna for dinner but a small serving with extra ricotta and left some of the noodle.
Breakfast: half a cup of plain greek yogurt with a tsp of honey and a tbsp of pecans
Snack: hard boiled egg
Lunch: 1 egg 2 egg whites 4 oz mushrooms cooked in oil and butter and topped with an ounce of mozzarella with a tbsp each of salsa and sour cream
Dinner: that lasagna I told you about
Evening snack: going to have an apple and an ounce of cheddar
Have a great evening everyone

Today I have to finish weeding the garden, cutting off dead spring parenials, planting topsoil, grass and gladiolas and spreading 2 bags of mulch. That will take hours through out the day. 3 hours so far. I would love to go to the gym for a swim and suna this evening. I am down 15 lbs. since last summer, but I am 13 lbs. above my surgical weight. I have a long way to go. Relosing is difficult but not impossible. Have a great day. Tri
I am with you tomorrow. I have company coming again next weekend so I have to reclean the house and wash laundry and sheets. I am falling behind on the weeds too. No more excuses for me either. I need to do this. We can do this. Tri
I hope you all had a great day
