Oops i posted on the wrong forum but i am here now.
am a long time lurker and I am a hopeful back on tracker.
I wanted to chime in with my accountability. This is very important for me since i rarely share or track my daily log.
Breakfast 1/2 single bag nacho Doritos
Lunch: chipotle bowl steak, black beans, lettuce, brown rice cheese, pico, and guacamole
Snack: other half of my doritos ugh
Dinner: 6 oz steak. 1 cup zuchinni noodles slightly sauteed with butter and onion
I know i ruined it with my choices but this is day one.
Cal 1471. Carbs 119. protein 100

B: Jimmy dean delight
S: Nutrisystem blueberry muffin
L: Lean Cuisine and salad
S: Plain Greek yogurt and frozen fruit smoothie
D: beef, potatoes and veggie soup
S: apple and nut crunch protein bar
E: clean, garden, laundry and shop

I intended to log in my day yesterday but between my kindle and my tummy acting up and me falling asleep early it didn't happen. Yesterday was pretty good food wise though. Here's the plan for today.
Breakfast-2 eggs
Lunch-hamburger patty w/cheese on a salad
Dinner-meatloaf green beans and mashed potatoes
Snacks-1)greek yogurt with a tbsp cereal and tsp honey
2)slice of light multigrain with cheese melted on it

I'm not much of a poster on web sites but this site has kept me sane. Everyone here is amazing. We've all gone through the same experiences. We are all unique in what we have chosen to do to keep living. Bravo us!
well.. 2 HB eggs are only 140 cal. and full of good fats and proteins.. they make me feel stuffed.
Grilled chicken - same thing..
That's why I don't worry about that...when I am losing - the carbs or wine - makes me stop losing weight. Proteins - not so much...
some free veggies.. nwell - they really just passing through my pouch and I want more.. but 2 HB eggs.. 2 hrs later - still full..

Your advice is really good. I would be a little worried about the chicken and hard-boiled eggs but I guess if you just eat a little bit it would be great!
i'm really happy about the fact that it only takes a little bit to make us feel more satisfied. Of course emotional hunger is our biggest battle. Thanks for the advice!
When I am actively losing weight...I have food I call " free food"... and I allow myself to eat that - but only that when I want to munch.
for me that "free food" may be HB eggs, chicken, celery, cucumber, olives, avocado, NSA pickles. etc.
so - when the munchies start - I know I can eat food- I just limit what I can eat.
chips or anything with carbs are not on it,. that way I limit the damage my eating would cause.
