Good morning botts

I cleaned off and on all day yesterday.  I still have one sink, one tub and 2 floors to wash today and 3 loads of laundry to haul over the stairs and put away.  Including all the odds and end getting ready, I cleaned for 3 hours.  That is 720 calories!  Our guests arrive this afternoon.  I will be ok as food goes until dinner and then all day tomorrow.  Tomorrow I sing at  Festa Italiana in Milwaukee.  It is the best festival as far as I am concerned.  I will be back at it on Monday morning.

My food plan today:

B: Jimmy Dean delight whole grain sandwich

S: banana and plain Greek yogurt

L: Weight   Watchers ravioli and Asian veggies in chicken broth

S: Weight  Watchers lasagna

D: Italian salad with shrimp and fat free dressing and a slice of pizza (not planned)

S: Nutrisystem oatmeal cookie

have a great day, Tri

My weight fluctuates a lot.  I weigh every morning so that I don't miss a new lost pound.  It goes up and down, up and down...then down a new pound.  I look at the trend of lowest pounds and don't worry about a 1 or 2 pound gain. It is my system...not for everyone.  When I stay off the scale for an extended period, I will gain.  Those pounds are hard to lose because they are 5 or 10 lb chunks.

I don't count fat or protein because I am a diabetic and my biggest concern is sugar and refined carbs.  I look for hidden sugar on labels.

My biggest problem is portion size.  I eat too many calories.  I burn 10 calories per pound of me.  Most of the time I eat a little over 2000 calories per day.  Thus I weigh a little over 200 lbs.  I know if I exercise 200 calories and eat 1800 calories (consistently) I could weigh 160 which would be great.  So why don't I do it?  I really hoped that the RNY would help me.  Tri

You should be thankful that is all that you have gained.

With that said i want to say. Congratulations.

Congratulations because you have made the 1st step. You have made the step to get on track.

I only take a multi vitamin and just started that 2 months ago. I didnt take one for 6 years.  Everyone has their own views on that subject. If you are like me i was eating plenty during my weight gain. And almost everyone has a low vit d and b 12. Maybe an extra calcium and iron if you dont eat enough. Remember dont take them together. Good luck sweetie and welcome.

I only drank diet coke ever. i have never had a regular soda. The milk did do the trick though. I felt so much better. And my sugar level stayed ok and  i have been diabetic since age 7 also . I am going to do a acid reducer that would probably help. Thank you

You can do it! that's why we came back here, to get BOTT, that last T stands for "together" you are not alone. It's hard to stay on track, but if we work at it, day by day, it will guess what? B.... Okay.

WE can all do this! We are here for each other, for moral support, crying, whining & moaning!! We know what to do! we've all done it before, right, so Try just a little harder, make a honest effort, and we will See results of wl once again. And I can't wait. Slow loss this what 50th time around? lol......

I have no patience what so ever. I want wl NOW!!

You are doing great w/ beg. your vits' again. A lot of us have done that, & it may be my downfall right now, not keeping up with my calcium & Vit suppl .? The Blood had been drawn, so let's see, where did I go wrong, so I can make it right again.

Keep us posted. I have severe chronic pain? achy joints & bones? mussles? I don't even know yet? but whew!! I can barely walk some days, but now I want to get to the root of my physical pain, because it's gotten to be unbearable. I have been living w/this pain for YRS. now. ? why ? I can't tell u?

Peace-jbug You are back where it all started, it's what we need to stay into it. One pound at a time!

Thank you for being here! & Thank You OH.com

I am proud of us!!! It is really hard ...but doable...and the stress will never go away; sometimes it is super high sometimes light, but the urge to medicate with food - always a temptation.  In some ways I find these self imposed restrictions 9for now) comforting. I was kidding myself about moderation - I start out moderate - and then I am eating bags of chips and crackers and slider foods and off the rails. Not having them at all is a weird relief. But I know it is novel now - the long haul - may be much more challenging.

but as we are saying to each other....a pound at a time.

Hope your weigh in goes well!! :^)

Thats great! Congrats on the loss. How often do you weigh yourself? I've been really bad about stepping on the scale. I got to a point where it consumed my life so hubby took it away for awhile. When he put it back I was determined not to weight my self 5 and 6 times a day again so I stay far away from it. I need to find a happy medium.

Found out Hubby got paid yesterday not next week so I went to Winco after work this morning and picked up a couple cases of water and a few other things to get me by until I can plan a menu for next week.

Question: How close do you follow your calories and fat grams? MFP has calories set at 1280 without exercise and fat set at 36 for 80 protien and loosing 2lbs/week. Yesterday and today I will be over on fat grams by a couple and under on calories by 200 or so.

I'm up at 330 for work so I have a snack before breakfast.

S: Egg white from 1 hardboiled egg (the 2nd one exploded in the micro)

B: Cream of Wheat made with Milk for extra protein. (The 1 cup serving was too much for me to finish)

L: sliced deli ham, babybel light, small tossed spinach salad with lighthouse ff sesame ginger dressing

D: Pot roast, veggies, salad with new lighthouse greek yogurt ranch (going to try it )

S: protein bar

I can barely keep my eyes open and hubby wants to go to he movies tonight so I'm off to take a nap. Hope everyone is doing well today.

Kristie
