Hang in there.  You are doing OK.  As you know initially wee may lose weight but ass time goes on our body gets used to the routine and may  resist changes.  Then I typically start changing what I do and eat.   Many people do good eating normal amount of carbs but I typically need to  eat less to lose.  I need to be at 40-50 gr with mostly no starchy carbs.  Andf I do need to limit fruits.

Just remember that the scales can't tell you how much your stamina has increased, how much better your clothes fit and how much healthier your actions have become. You've made the decision to get back on track and you're doing that. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Small changes sometimes have large rewards, but they may not be exactly where we want them.  They may show up on the scale, in our clothes by measurements or just in the way we feel overall.  I think you are doing great and it will pay off for all your effort.

Great minds ...  I was just sitting here feeling sorry for myself and thought I would post a whine and lo and behold I see someone in the same boat!

I’m really trying to stay on track. I am two weeks out from surgery to repair a incisional hernia.  Not doing much in the line of exercising yet, just walking around the house.   I’m eating good things, not eating bad things.  I love candy and homemade cookies and haven’t had any in two weeks.  I’m not hungry I just want to eat them.  I love to snack on them, which I totally understand got me into the fix I was in to begin with and resulted in the follow up regain.

Gee, they hardly leave my mind.  It’s like a haunt.  I feel as though I’m hanging on by my nails most days.  What is the deal anyway?

Your persistence will pay off.  As we start to exercise its always about weight loss.  However, there are so much more benifits including stamina, health, and energy.  Good luck  on your weigh in.
