Good evening, BOTT friends,
Very hectic day. Saw my pain management doc today *****commended yet another invasive procedure for my back. Have to watch a video and do a lot of researching before I agree to it. Otherwise, I've been on my feet since 5:30 a.m., it's now 12:50 a.m., and I have to be up again in 4 1/5 hrs. And I almost agreed to go fishing tonight at midnight, but have to babysit my 5yr old granddaughter starting at 6:30 this a.m. Phew!! But, such is life... (at least MY life, lol)
I got my recumbent bike workout in this afternoon, 65 minutes, covering 7.1 miles. I did find another fruit nemesis today. One of my favorites, sweet cherries, is all over the markets and I bought 2 lbs. I also got my vegetables like I said, and roasted some asparagus tonight. But I found that large amts of cherries, like watermelon, cannot be allowed in my house. I ate 27 of them. When I checked the calories it wasn't all that bad (73 cals per 1 cup), but it's high in carbs and sugar. No damage done, but I made certain to give them away this evening (except a few stragglers). Today I ate:
B: 4 strips low sodium turkey bacon, 1 egg + 1 egg white and 1/3 c eggbeaters
L: grilled chicken leg and wing (skinless)
S: above noted fresh cherries
D: 4 ozs deli ham on sandwich thin, 2 tsps mayo, lettuce, tomato, grilled asparagus
S: McDonald's iced coffee (SF with splenda)
