New day, new resolve. Time to change my environment so my habits have a snowball's chance of changing. Also I am housecleaning to clear my mind so I can do taxes tomorrow. Not the most fun weekend, but it could be a healthy one.

I'm on day 4 of the liquid diet (pouch do-over).  My day has gone pretty good and I'm still doing great on just having liquids.  I've been drinking calorie countdown milk with my pills.  I have to take 27 pills a day, so that's why it's such a high volume.

12oz milk with pills  (must take with food) (9 grams)

B:  yogurt (10 grams)

L:  yogurt  (13 grams)

D:  none.  Just crystal light

Now:  12oz milk to take with my night pills (must take with food)  (9 grams)

My protein for today is 41 grams and my clear liquid intake is 86.5oz.  I'm thinking that's pretty good.

Oh what a beautiful day it's been.

I had a WONDERFUL girls night out last night and I haven't laughed that much in years. My 21 year old son and his girlfriend volunteered to be our dds last night. 4 middle age women out on the town. It was hilarious. The girls actually managed to embarrass me last night. More like the waitstaff at the Mexican restaurant embarrassed me with a 4 foot sombrero I had to wear while the entire restaurant sang and then a shot of some blue Tequila. That was on top of the Sangria-rita-rona that I drank. It's amazing that I didn't embarrass myself.

Today has been busy. The entire garden is planted. Cabbage (green & red), tomatoes, peppers (Hot, sweet & exotic), egg plants, radishes, beets, squash (2 kinds), cucumbers, snap beans, butter beans, onions, carrots, hanover mixed greens, asparagus beans (Chinese yard long beans) and okra. I'm EXHAUSTED. Not to mention I have body parts hurting that I didn't know still existed. lol. I even earned a blister from the hoe.

Needless to say I haven't eaten very well today. I haven't overeaten BUT I would say that it was a heavy carb day because I was looking for grab and go type options. I have gotten in the water and decaf iced tea....gallons of it.

Tomorrow will be a better day food wise. But my land I have enjoyed my day today.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Good evening, BOTT friends,

It's 1:30 am Sunday morning and I am just finding time to post.  Today has been spent reading and watching TV.  I did get a short workout in on my recumbent bike, 21 mins covering 2.3 miles sluggishly.  Not much pep in my step today for some odd reason.  I guess my body is saying I'm doing too much, and since I rarely listen, then it's going to make sure I do this time.

I couldn't think of a thing for dinner tonight, and since I'd defrosted a tray of chicken legs, I concocted a "low fat/low carb chicken parm".  It was actually pretty tasty, with lots of leftovers to give to my daughters.  Other than that, today I ate:

B:  3/4 c eggbeaters and 1 egg white with 2 tbsp shredded cheddar, apple slices

S:  4 ozs SF vanilla pudding

L:  5 ozs lean beef burger on sandwich thin with mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, 2 tsps relish, 3/4 c sauteed green beans

D:  1 c above mentioned chicken parmesan

S:   1/2 c chicken parm

I'm feeling like I want something sweet, but ran out of Crystal Light yesterday.  Think I'll just go to sleep, but if the urge strikes again, I'll have 1/2 of a protein bar or shake.

Hope everyone has a good night :)

Hi Everyone

I am back in Louisiana.  My mom is so weak.  Just getting her out of her chair into her wheel chair was a struggle yesterday.  I am still up and down with my food plan as it is so difficult in hospitals etc.  This trip my hubby is here and we did take time to do some fun things.  Friday we took a swamp tour less than 30 minutes from where I grew up.  You never do the touristy things right around you.  How dumb of me.  Last night we saw friends and ate at a cajun restaurant that has a band and a dance floor.  Never Cajun danced before but a waltz is a waltz is a waltz.  Had fun.  Went to bed around midnight and woke up a couple of hours later to the loudest thunder I can ever remember.  I swear the house lit up with each lightning bolt to be followed with eardrum splitting thunder.  the skies opened up but the rain has stopped now.  We are headed back to Houston and hopefully I can get my food under control once again.  The 6 pounds I put on last month while spending everyday at the hospital is still there but at least I haven't given them any new friends.
