Back On Track Together
Saturday....solemn
My mother passed away on Thursday. She is dancing in a beautiful green meadow with my father who passed 26 yrs ago this month. They are surrounded by their brothers, sisters, parents and a beautiful 9 month old baby daughter who celebrate all being together once more. I have been away from the boards arranging her travel plans and celebrating the first half of her "life".
I haven't exactly been getting up and walking, the reflection was needed more. I did continue to log what I was eating as I celebrated my family's older generation. I am pleased to say, what emotional eating I did was met with nutritional food which I just ate without much deliberation. It seems I have come far enough along in my lifestyle change to be able to do some emotional eating and make good nutritional food while I was doing it. Hallelujah!
What little I did read on the board was very encouraging. We are very positive and encouraging here. Too much of life is just the opposite..no need to be that way here as well. We must continue to support and encourage each other in continuing a great "lifestyle" not necessarily in watching the poundage. In the end, the important part is not the number on the scale, but the numbers in lab work, the numbers in the nutritional value, the numbers in the amount of physical movement and the number in the amount of time. We are what is important, the quality of us, not the weight.
For that I thank you all for being here. I appreciate US very much.
Debra, may your heart continue to be filled with love, strength, and meaning as you live through this difficult time.
My sincerest sympathy on your loss. Please know that we're here for you in any way that we can help to encourage and support you in this difficult time. (((hugs))) and prayers.
