Freezing rain now, snow coming later. So windy my son was afraid to sleep in his room so he's curled up fast asleep in my lap, sweet boy. Oh to be able to step out the door without coat, hat, and gloves! This had been a long @?&$ing winter!

Another good day: 12 cups fluids, 50 minutes on the treadmill, all vitamins taken. Upped my calories to 1,300 and ate a mid-morning snack but still hungry. RH has been great though.
B protein coffee
S Greek yogurt, raw pumpkin seeds
L BBQ pulled pork with cheddar, chopped veggie salad
S quest bar (love the choc chip cookie dough)
D lettuce, ranch, black bean burger with Swiss (no bun)
S Vitatop

I wish I could send you some of the great weather that we are about to have.  All next week it is to be sunny and in the low 80's.  Of course, come summer I will be wishing you could send me some of your weather down to me.  Have a great day!

Good evening, BOTT friends,

Well, the agony is over...at least for now.  I had my ablation procedure today.  Four flourescent orange band-aids on my lower back as souvenirs.  I endured that needle four times, and it was nothing but the truth!  It destroys the target nerves causing pain through radiofrequency waves which produce heat.  The nerve can regenerate after a few months, but hopefully if it does, it will not carry the same degree of pain.

So far today, I have been really sore and a little stiff when getting out of bed.  Needless to say, I was not going to even attempt to do my bike workout tonight.  I'm about to take a pain pill and go to bed like someone with sense :)

My eating was all out of whack today.  Drinking too.  I couldn't eat or drink prior to the procedure, and was absolutely famished by the time we arrived home.  I made my "brunch" at noon, didn't eat again (except a protein shake****il 9 pm.  Anyway, here goes:

B:  none

L:  1/2 c eggbeaters and 1 egg white, 1 chicken sausage link, apples slices

S:  protein shake made with coffee and 2 tbsps half&half

D:  egg salad on sandwich thin, 3 ozs KFC grilled chicken breast

S:  Plan another 3 ozs chicken breast, or protein bar IF I wake up hungry during the night

Hope everyone has a great night, and sweet dreamzzzz

I am so glad that your procedure went well and I hope you can find some long lasting relief from it.  You may be out of whack with your food timing but the food itself looks great!  Have a great Friday!

Thanks, Tess.  Actually, I'm feeling a lot better today.  Still a little sore, but nothing I can call real "pain".  Got in some protein during the night when I woke up around 3am.  Then I started on my fluids early this morning since I'm feeling "headachy", most likely due to dehydration.

Just glad it's over, and had good outcomes, so far.  Getting back on my bike today.  Hope you and all the rest of my BOTT friends have a great Friday, and I'll be posting later tonight, as usual.
