Good Morning Botters:
It is a rainy, wet day here in Mississippi. We had a great time yesterday at the State Science Fair. My son came in 3rd place out of eight for his project and won $10.00 in cash on a frizbee throw and $10.00 Itune card in a door prize drawing. This was awesome since there were about 500 students at State. Glad though to be back home. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Protein Shake
Lunch: Protein Bar
Snack: Protein Shake
Dinner: Protein Bar
Snack: Protein Shake
Have a great day and remember those vits and fluids.
It's a nice quiet day in the office today...that scares me. It's been chaos for so long that this lull is like the calm before a storm. Hopefully it's all in my head and this is our new normal. In the past 4 months we've had a new boss take office, painting and remodeling, a staff changeover, new computer hardware and a brand new computer software and tech support change. We've been drug kicking and screaming out of the dusty vault and into the internet age.
Morning vitamins and meds are done. Fresh pot of decaf iced tea is chililng in the work fridge.
Wake up: Whole wheat toast with nsa pear butter
commute: coffee
Breakfast: scrambled eggs w/ 1/4 everything bagel.
lunch: Subway salad with Tuna salad
snack: iced coffee with vanilla protein
dinner: grilled brats with sauteed peppers, onions and mushrooms
I'd toasted my 1/2 a bagel and then realized that I'd already had a slice of wheat toast. Cut the bagel in half and tossed the other parts into the bird feeder at work. They've enjoyed it.
Exercise is going to be a long walk with the dog this evening.
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

EATS
Early Morning: 2 cups coffee w/SF hazelnut creamer
B: Unjury protein shake
S: apple & banana
L: roast chicken breast & pepper jack on a whole wheat sandwich thin, candy bar
S: Unjury protein shake
D: beef pot roast, potatoes, carrots, crescent roll
S: none
TOTALS: 1510 Calories, 121g Protein
I'm over my calorie budget by 50 calories so I'm going to try not to eat the crescent roll tonight. Wish me luck...lol. Maybe I'll be satisfied by just a bite or two then I'll stay within budget.
I've got two months until my TT and I would like to lose at least 10 pounds before then so I'm really going to have to try harder and do better. Starting Monday, my plan is to have only protein shakes and bars throughout the day and have a healthy balanced meal for dinner each night. And for that sweet tooth of mine I will cut back to 10% or less of my daily calories and as much as I can stand it I will try to avoid it all together. I will need everyone's encouragement so I welcome all the help you have to offer. Thanks so much in advance!
Typical spring today: breezy, cool, cloudy, sunny, warm and all-around pleasant as can be. Today's a swimming day. I took three months off and found when I started again I could no longer swim hard for 30 minutes! My stamina and strength have waned so much I can only swim six laps. Dang it! One sweet day I'll be able to climb the pool ladder and use the lap pool (instead of the exercise/therapy pool) where I can swim without people blocking the one lap lane.
The plan: (not enough protein...maybe add a pro shake at night...?)
Breakfast: Coffee with half and half
Lunch: Protein shake
Tea: Taco or sushi...depends on if and where we go to lunch after swimming
Dinner: Chicken breast and green veges
Bedtime: Protein cocoa and TJ's seaweed snacks--only half a box! This is the time to put into practice my therapist's instructions and the wisdom Roo has shared with us. Nightime binging, you are goin' down!
