Back On Track Together
Sunday, April 7th, Cardio & Cafe
Good evening, BOTT friends,
Another good day of working out on my recumbent bike. I've been on the move all day, pancake breakfast for my granddaughters, babysitting, going up and downstairs more than I should (I know I've made at least 15-20 trips up and down today, probably more). I am constantly moving, and tonight, my back is making me pay for it. Gotta slow down...
I got in 2 workouts today/tonight...a 26 min one this afternoon, covering 3 miles, and a 20 min one tonight, covering 2.7 miles. or almost 30 miles since starting last Monday. I am just so glad to be able to do SOMETHING in the form of a workout to enhance my weight loss efforts.
Even still, I have reached another plateau and I think I know why: high sodium intake. I have decided to cut out the turkey bacon, the processed deli meats, and my beloved KOSHER DILLS!!! Maybe I'll have an occasional pickle spear :) I did buy a rotisserie turkey breast that was labeled "low sodium", but I think I'll roast my own from now on so I can be sure of the sodium content.
Anyway, today I ate:
B: 1 egg and 1/2 c eggbeaters, 2 slices turkey bacon, 1/2 c sliced strawberries
S: protein shake made w/black coffee, 1 tbsp half&half
L: 4 ozs rotisserie turkey breast on sandwich thin, 1 tsp lite, and 1 tsp reg mayo, tomato slices, 1/3 dill pickle
S: protein bar, 1/2 oz natural almonds
D: chicken Italian sausage w/peppers, onions, mushrooms, 1/2 sandwich thin, grainy mustard
Hope everyone has a pleasant night, good sleep and sweet dreamzzzz! G'night!
P.S. I'm sure the baby shower went great, Tess. I love baby showers. Just spend hours in the stores trying to pick JUST the right gift, even if there's a registry. Just my OCD, working overtime :)
Great workout again! You are really being committed. So glad that I am not the only one with the OCD on gifts. What takes me hours to pick out others just go in and grab something and both are appreciated the same. I got to lighten up. Shower was great and food was too awesome. Back to protein today.
