Back On Track Together
weekly update
It is over a week but I lost another pound and am 211. I am so far from perfect but I guess a little better than I have been in the past when I was gaining. This Friday I see the GI doctor about the overstitch procedure. Not making a commitment to anything yet but I want to hear his opinion and his results. This GI doctor is one of the best in the country and has tons of endoscopic experience. I am interested in how long he has been doing this particular procedure and how many of these procedures he's done. I don't feel a need to rush into anything. If I had let my surgeon get one more year experience my original surgery would have been different and the program would have been more supportive. Dr. Prewitt (my original surgeon) changed his RNY technique as he gained more experience and learned. He is actually doing more and more VSGs now.
