Quest bars - too good to be true?

BTW: over the weekend I talked to another person (normal - no WLS) who is using the bars and she told me that she gets very hungry app. 1 hr after eating on of them...
I am not sure what it is - and maybe quest really does not know that the bars can affect people like that.  I gained 6 lbs after I introduced the bars into my diet,,, and not changing anything else -over 1 week I lost 4 lbs... and now I can eat fruits again... lol...
I truly believe that whatever the bars have - carbs - affect my body as if one bar have over 20 gr of  sugar - glucose.  Simple carbs..

Thank you so much for explaining that to me. I had RH this weekend. About 1 and 1/2 hours after eating egg biscuits, given to me as a gift, I went shopping and almost fainted. I still have the Quest bars in the cabinet...won't touch them

Some people on RNY board chew me up and gave me hard time for talking badly about the bars. A lot of people like them and use them.  But I know what they did to me.  I have been getting and eating them daily more than 2 months now.  during that time I gained weight, my RH was getting worse and worse... I gave up fruits, blamed occasional glass of wine on the symptoms (gave that up) and so on... Last week I stop eating the bars... I got the typical sugar - carb detox symptoms (including headache) ... lost 4 lbs... (sugar detox)  and start feeling more like myself.

BTW: Quest have the return product policy.  If you do not want them - you can contact them and return them for credit.
