Good Morning everyone. Almost Friday!
I didnt make healthy choices last night, or this morning. Im a stress eater. Hell, Im a happy eater, stress, sad... I just eat. Things at home are stressful right now. Got home last night and decided to take my daughter out for pedi's. That was wonderful. I really needed it for my poor legs and feet. I picked up a pizza an managed to eat almost 4 pieces of a medium! HUH? Yes, I did. Evidently had a big pouch moment.
Had a 2 hour commute this morning and when carpool stopped at DD for coffee, I proceeded to get a chocolate chip muffin. And eat it all. And I really have the nerve to complain about the scale?
Im going to try to make better choices for the rest of the day.
Trainer tonight, so I'll get in 20 mins on the treadmill before my most deserved beatings as a warmup.

It's so hard to break the carb habit once you
start it, I started just eating protein for
snacks when I get the urge to eat carbs. Even
though it put me over my calories, it broke
the cycle after a day or two. Finally I've
started losing again after a 1 year stall.
I really needed to up up up the protein and
really limit the carbs. I know for me there
are just certain foods that I just have to
avoid completely. Hope you have a great day!

I do have some "big pouch days"... I learn to eat foods that will fill me up - eat as much as I want - as long as it is the right stuff.
Some of that include:
raw sunflower seeds - eating them slowly
any meat - or cheese snacks.
protein cakes (that I make)
quest bars (eat one - drink 1/2 cup of water and you are stuffed for 1/2 day)
any meat - veggies combo...
hard boiled eggs...
nuts combo...
I do overeat some days - but it is guilt free... (not pain free)
I always carry food in my purse and in my car. So when others are eating - so do I. Just my food..

dark and rainy here today.. I am tired. Went out last night with customers and ... got 2 glasses of wine instead of just one... horrible... I never do that. This morning I realized that most likely I drove home legally drank... not good... But the waitress just assumed I would want another glass and once the wine was there - I drank it. Next time - I need to make sure I tell them up front - "One glass limit" grrrrrr....
But I had salad and chicken, and some cheese... so food wise - we were good (not really happy about the evening though)
The rain makes me so sad and tired... hate that..
Eats today:
sunflower seeds, protein muffin (2)
coffee + coconut milk
protein shake (with coffee)
salad with some proteins.. (eggs?)
quest bar
cottage cheese + proteins and blueberries..
chicken with mushrooms (leftovers)
