Monday, April 16th, Cardio & Cafe

Good Morning Botts:

Back to work with the Monday morning blues.  I wi**** was Saturday again.  My eats and cardio for today are:

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Shake
Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch:  Lasagna Cups
Snack:  Mini Popcorn Bag
Dinner:  Grilled Chicken Salad
Snack:  NSA ice cream sandwich

Exercise:  1 hour walk in neighborhood

Have a great day and don't forget your vits and fluids.

Tess, thanks for being so consistent.   Weekend was OK but I had a really huge pouch this weekend and it felt like bottomless pit, and not a small pouch. Even my BF noticed that I was able to eat a lot.  It was sort of funny..
It was still good food... and a lot of veggies and meat... so overall I stayed on plan.  Really good plan. Except exercise. None... well... at least we had fun- lots of fun...

Today is a new day.

coffee + almond milk
chocolate covered strawberries (healthy food) and sunflower seeds
protein shake with greens
meat and veggies
quest bar
protein shake (if driving) or soup/stew
cabbage with lots of meat,
LNS: chocolate covered strawberries.

For some who gasps at my chocolate covered berries:
I use 90% dark chocolate, melted with some butter, and use stevia to sweeten that.
Dip my strawberry in that.  I may eat 2-4 strawberries ... that is equivalent to 1 square or less of very dark chocolate  and fruits.   yummy... legal treat... 
 
BTW: my wii is finally hooked up to my new TV (I needed a HDMI adapter) o now I can do some Wii...) love the idea.

Had a great weekend, no exactly productive but very enjoyable ...Tonight is support group so I think no cardio in the works...

Breakfast  :  Protein coffee  
Snack  :  2 slices deli turkey rolled around 1 slice of provolone (divided) with a  smear of tomato 
                jam  & a kirby cucumber
Snack  :  coffee with creamer & a little milk
Lunch   :  shrimp scampi primavera over 2 oz cooked barilla plus protein pasta
Dinner  :  as yet unknown, probably a protein shake after the meeting

Despite it being Monday, the weather this week is going to be gorgeous- which probably accounts for part of my good mood this morning.  I love the sunshine! 
Hubby is feeling a little better today, but he stayed home from work to rest.

I decided to take my weight progress ticker out of my signature for a while.  I noticed that I've been super focused on the scale numbers which fuels a lot of frustration when it doesnt move (or moves too slowly in my estimation).  I also had my husband hide the bathroom scale so I wont be tempted to weigh myself daily.
Instead, I want to focus on my food intake and cardio/strength for a while to truly get my habits solidified and not bouncing from this to that in an effort to get the scale to move.

Today's data for me:

Breakfast 1:
Hard boiled egg

Breakfast 2:
Unjury Strawberry Sorbet Protein shake with chia seed and lemon

Snack:
Cucumbers

Lunch:
2.5oz tuna wrapped in lettuce leaves

Snack:
Cucumbers

Dinner:
1 servings of Pizza with cauliflower crust and 5 slices light dry salame

Snack:
Fage Total 0% Greek yogurt w/ diced strawberries

Exercise:
Stationary bike - 30 minutes
Crunches - 178
Pushups - 84
Dips - 98
Squats - 194

Calories: 856
Fat: 32g
Total Carb: 40g
Net Carb: 30g
Protein: 99g
Getting back on track 10yrs later after a REGAIN of approx 35lbs

The weekend was good, too good, I weighted myself and I am up 3 pounds.  I know what I did and I self corrected this morning.  So, I am back on track.

It's 78 degrees here this evening and I will get in my 45 minute evening workout: Wii Active Tennis.  So here is my eats for the day!

Pre-Breakfast:  Coffee  w/Med’s

Breakfast:  Protein Shake w/SF Pudding

Snack:  Protein Bar/Quest – Strawberry Cheesecake

Lunch:  Side salad with 4oz of Seared Shrimp  

Snack: None

Dinner:  Small Sweet Potato w/Gordon Fish & 1/2C of Steamed Veggies

Snack:  Skinny Banana Split

s-1oz deli turkey
water and 40mins walking.

 Pre surgery 300 lbs, lowest after 175 lbs, re-gain highest 249 lbs, current 211 lbs, goal 170 lbs!
