Good morning!
I'm trying to get myself back on a good plan, but it seems like there's always something, to put me back.  I haven't been feeling well and went to the Dr., after a few tests, I have pneumonia.  That, on top of today, I have my best friend's funeral, I'm sure that my emotional eating will be showing it's ugly head...  I'm going to try my best to avoid all of the crap, and try not to fall into the "poor me" stage.  I'm really going to plan on being more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth.  I'll post my food later today.
Have a great day!
Deb

Good Morning! I am going to stick to plan today as I have been for the past few days. Down another pound! I know it's water weight but still motivating. Iv'e been having 3 protein shakes a day and small snacks, last night I ate Steak and put spanish rice on my plate BUT I measured 2 ozs. of each. I thought to myself that it didn't look like very much so I ate my protein first and what do you know! I  felt full. I know now that I have been over estimating my portions and will continue to measure for a while.

Todays eats are:
B protein shake
L protein shake
S probably nothing
D Lean protein and a veggie
S protein shake

I drink atleast 74 ounces of plain water a day and other liquids so I'm good there. And all vitamins.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.  Hope you feel better soon..

After antibiotics - do not forget to get extra probiotics - the friendly flora, and watch for nasty yeast issues (I always ask my doc to give me script for diflucan - so if I get the yeast - I can take care of it as soon as I realize what is happening)

My day is not too good.  My cat did not come home last night so I was worried sick... Had a hard time sleeping. Finally got up at 2am and went out and called her.. She came home withing 15 min. The little stinker... But but that time I was fully awake and it took me an hr to get back to sleep.  I woke up with a nasty headache.  Took some Tylenol, but it did not do a thing... so against my best judgment - I took Advil.  Hate to do that, but was dry heaving from the migraine pain.  I feel better now... not 100% , but at least can work...
eats:
coffee with al milk
yogurt with proteins and blueberries (finally was able to eat something)
ham with veggies (if my pouch will tolerate solids)
or proteins shakes and more yogurt  if I have problem with food.

dinner : depends how I feel. either meat with veggies - salad - or light soup...

Hala, Glad the kitty came back!

Mine likes to make a run for it sometimes. I dont to let her out because she is declawed. We found her outside that way. Actually, she found us! I keep telling her she has no idea how good she has it inside. All the food she wants, unconditional love and lots of heavy petting! LOL

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks. My cat also found me and adopted me. She is a hunter. And as much as I want to protect her- she knows the outside and loves it. And I am not home enough - and she is the only animal I have - so confined her inside - I just can't do that.  She has me trained. She climes the trees and is a smart cat - so I do hope that she will be OK. The way I figure it out - if I did not adopted her - she may not survive another season - this way - she may have shorter life - but much more happy - with the sunshine and critters and that inside love food and attention. (that she gets when I am home)
Normally - she is home for the night (smart kitty) - She has cat door... so she can come and go as she pleases... (except at night - I lock us in)
