Corn Thins

 Has anyone heard of corn chips? I got them from Natural grocers here in my area. 
They are really good for that "crunch" and I put pb on mine.

Here is the nutritional Information:
Serving size is 2 slices
Calories 44, 0 from fat
Carbs 8g
Dietary fiber 1g
Sugars 0g
Protein 1


I usually have one for my morning snack and one for my afternoon snack.

Carbs. Just carbs. I would avoid them. Unless I can eat them with a lot of fat and proteins,

do you get sleepy when your BS dropps?
After I eat about 30 min to an hr I get sleepy...even if It's not carby...I suppose I need to learn or be aware of what is going on when it does....I blow off so much of my "symptons" that are a result of my RYN

That is from insulin release - after eating.  I used to get that. I still get taht some times. (google - sleepy after eating)   Then I started eating more fat. 
BTW: If I have too many carbs - mt BS may drop, if I have only carbs - My sugar may drop, if I have just proteins - my sugar may drop (proteins can be converted to sugars - ) but if I add fat to the mix- I am fine. Fat + carbs (not too many) or proteins + fat - I am definetly OK.  Also if i do not get enough carbs and exercise and do not eat for 3+ hrs - my sugar may drop.

i.e.FF greek Yogurt + proteins + blueberries - not so good for me (unless a little as a snack) but if I add 1-2 Tbs flax meal - or nuts - I am fine.

so much to learn....none of this was ever even discussed with me before...will google it.
i usually have protein + sm carb....
today was not too bad i had chicken / feta spinach berger + 3 strawberries+ cauli and butter sauce 1/2 c and 2 mini protein muffins...which i added flax to and made with soy flour other good stuff too... but yesterday..omg so tired...ate chicken berger same as today with italian vegies (broc & carrots) soo idk....today i did eat about 10 pork rinds before lunch...(30 min) soo i dont know ...anyway THANKS

And cooked carrots - unless drenged with butter - are real problem for me - too many sugars.

I learn by trial and errors.  What worked and what does not work.  Fat + proteins - OK ,, proteins with carbs - not so much.  But no carbs = trouble also.  I HATE RH with passion.

So do you think the carb count is too high? I also have RH so I don't want any episodes.

IMO - Too high if you eat them just by themself. As an addition to proteins and fat - they probably are OK. With RH - even when we do not notice our BS get low - we still can get low BS - just not low enough to "feel" it.

 Ok, that makes sense. Thank you, I'm still trying to figure out how to keep this RH under control. I hate the way I feel when my blood sugar drops.
