Happy Easter Botts:
I hope everybody has a wonderful Easter today and that we all take a moment to thank the Lord for why we are all here. I am not posting food today because I know I will be having some different goodies. I want to take a moment and thank all my OH friends for all the support that everybody offers, it only takes a few minutes but it last a life time.
Have a very blessed day!

Happy Easter!
Today, we should all give thanks for all that we have. I've been MIA for a while now. I've been in a full-time day program, trying to deal with my depression and anxiety. It just seems to come up from nowhere. But I'm happy to be back.
Breakfast - bagel thin w/cream cheese
Lunch - chicken w/veggies
Dinner - not sure, just laying low, will eat something out of the fridge.
Have a wonderful day!

Happy Easter!.
Have a great day everybody...
Easter is here. Full spring. great weather. Warm but not too hot. Love it.
Slept late... and doing OK.
eats: ( I will be good most of the day)
coffee with coconut milk
2 protein cakes, chocolate covered strawberry (made last night)
eggs and ham and veggies, cheese
pork roast, mushroom sauce, ham, veggies and salad
chocolate covered berries..
quest bar - need my fiber
walking in the park as exercise..
Great RNY friendly chocolate covered strawberries:
I use 90% dark chocolate - break into pieces. Add 1 Tbs of butter to 1 bar chocolate (100gr). melt in microwave (do not overheat). Add sweetener (I use stevia) mix well. Dip fruits into the mix. Set on wax paper or other non stick stuff. Refrigerate. eat it. It is enough chocolate to cover 1 lb (thick cover) strawberries.
Fruits and dark chocolate is good for us. Legal treat. - cheat.

I was up at 5:30am baking and cooking, but didnt feel it until after we got home for the day. We had a lovely day (church at 10am, followed by lunch and treats with family). My husband woke me at 7:30pm after I'd 'crashed' on the couch a couple hours earlier. He didnt want me to have a hard time getting back to sleep at my usual bedtime.

I planned for Easter over a week ago, I actually came in 144 calories under my limit for today.
I am calorie/carb cycling, so I planned on Easter Sunday as a high calorie/carb day and made other days this week lower so that my weekly totals will still fall in range.
I was over on carbs (by 36g), but not bad for a holiday that is usually filled with high calorie, high carb treats.
