Thursday, March 29th, Cardio & Cafe
I am in a funk today....I have a CT Scan scheduled at 10:15 AM which means nothing to eat are drink this morning...I missed my coffee. Afterwards, I get to go have my boobs squeezed for a mammogram. What a fun morning for me. My eats and cardio for today are:
Prebreakfast: nothing
Breakfast: nothing
Snack: nothing
Lunch: Somewhere out
Snack: Quest Coconut Cashew Bar
Dinner: Something with Chicken
Snack: Vanilla Protein Pudding
I will be working late tonight when I get back to the office so I will not have any cardio today.
I hope each of you have a better day today than me and don't forget your vits and fluids, I will be playing catch up all day on mine.
Well I had my CT Scan yesterday...today not feel so good and I travel tomorrow so I am going to head to the Urgent Care and have them check me out. Don't want something to happen mid-flight, etc or be admitted back into the hosiptal this coming holiday like Thanksgiving.
So, no work out for me today.
PreBreakfast: Protein Coffee Drink (1scoop)
Breakfast/Snack: Not sure putting a protein bar in my bag
(Lunch - Dinner) unsure - report or list later after I get home.

Pre-Breakfast : 2 mint GS cookies
Breakfast : protein coffee
Snack : 2 sausage links & a cheese stick
Snack : coffee with sf creamer
Lunch : greek yogurt with cinnamon vanilla sf davinci, apple bits, kashi crunch & toasted
almond slivers added in
Dinner : 3-4 oz baked lemon chicken, 1/4 c steamed rice & 1/2c stewed tomatoes
Cardio : grocery store dash and nice long walk with DH & the dogs

Crazy busy at work still. I'll be working some crazy off hours this weekend for a power outage. One of the drawbacks of being IT. You have to be there all the time!
Didnt manage to run again last night since it was raining, but we are trying to go again tonight. I have to do something tonight!

now Im having a 6in Subway roast beef, no cheese and veggies
Almonds and string cheese
Dinner has been off this week, maybe we'll finally have the black bean burgers
Today is busy one. Up at 5:30am, to work by 7am. Leave work at 2pm for my ortho appointment. Directly after the appointment, grab hubby and off to the grocery store we went. After grocery shopping and while hubs puts things away, workout before I sit down and watch the rest of my energy disappear.
Today's menu:

4oz herbal tea
Breakfast 2 - 9am
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup crushed pineapple
Snack - 12:00pm

Lunch - 1:30pm
3/4 of a Raleys California Cobb Salad
Snack - 4:30pm
6oz Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt
1/4cup crushed pineapple
Dinner - 7:30pm
1/2c egg salad w/ 2tsp unflavored protein powder
1 whole wheat 100 cal thin sandwich bun
Snack - 9pm
1/2cup SF Choc Fudge Protein Pudding

Today was a higher calorie/carb day on my calorie cycling plan. After a few days of eating fairly light, I felt like a glutton today. Tomorrow is the highest day of calorie intake all week and I'm already wondering how I'm going to fit it in!

Late morning today. The cat did not want to get up so we slept till 6:45.
Then rush and rush... but still end up late at work. So need to make up and stay late. Got a lot of work to do.
Eats today:
Brazil Nuts, protein cookies
coffee+ almond milk
cheese (lots of it as a snack) - good food - just way too much of it..
salad with shrimps (small portion)
detour protein bar (very good - 15 proteins but had 15 gr of SA - I will pay for that later)
protein shake w Greens
D; whatever I get at my friends house e- some fish or meat with veggies.(they always cater to me needs)
Note:
At Costco last night they were giving samples of the new DETOUR protein bars. I was hungry so I asked (jokingly) if I can have a whole bar....and she gave me 2... (she was closing up). I had one in Costco and one today. They are really good - taste wise... but they have 13-14 gr SA... But are nice and soft. I tried the Peanut Butter one and the Chocolate Chip Caramel. Both really good taste.
15 gr proteins. 170 cal, but loaded with SA. And they do have some splenda (I will not be using them) If you can tolerate that - nice snack. Low fiber... but then - can't have everything...
