Good morning Tess & Botts:
Tess, I am glad you like it, now you have to try the Cupcakes & Brownies. I was also able to find the Banana Nut Vita Tops and they are great!
Well, the temp here dropped as of yesterday were be in the 50's for the rest of the week. Thanks to my pharmacist we figured out why my blood pressure is going up at night and now I need to speak with my doctor. I've been taken my blood pressure meds in the morning for about a year. I was hosptal in Novemeber and Februray for PE in both lungs (small Blood Clots). To treat the blood clots they have me on Warfarin which I need to taken at night at 9pm. We discovered that a side effect to the Warfarin is High Blood pressure. So, it cause my blood pressure to raise over night and cause me anxiety when I wake up in the middle of the morning. So, I am instruted to take my B/P meds at night 1 to 2 hours before I take Warfarin. Which now I can actually sleep through the night and my blood pressure is still normal when I wake. I will follow up with my doctor tomorrow and have them adjust my meds so my blood pressure doesn't raise during the day. And I need to start eatting or having my protein within the 1st 30 minutes of getting up, because I've been eatting or having a protein shake after I workout in the moring or around 11am is too late and my heart is working overtime to keep me moving with no food or protein to help it out is also a cause to my blood pressure being high in the mid-moring. So, I have a protein coffee first thing as I search the internet and make plans for the day. So, for now everything is well.
So today:
Work out at home on the Wii Tennis for 50 minutes this morning and I will head to the gym today around 10am and do 3 miles on the treadmill.
Eats for the day:
PreBreakfast: Cold Coffee (decaf) with a scoop of Protein powder
Breakfast/Snack: Fruit Smoothie with 2 scoops of Protein and 8oz Diet V8 Splash and 1/2 of fruit
Lunch: Egg White Sandwich on 100 cal bread and a wedge of laughing Cow cheese (dressing)
Snack: Bowl of SF Mandarin Oranges
Dinner: Stuffed Flounder w/Crab Meat from T/J (Trader Joes) and Veggies
Snack: Vita Top - Chocolate Cup Cake
TT Cal: 1110 / TT Proteins: 136

Good Morning. Ugh..Monday, Not feeling it at all.
Yum on the VitaTops! They are so good. The only ones Im not crazy about are the corn bread.
So Ive got one week down with the Zoloft. I was feeling pretty good, but not sleeping well. I cant really chalk that up to the meds only though, but I did sleep last night. Today Im a little off and have an overall feeling of 'whats the point'. I assume it will pass...eventually. Ive had the munchies since Friday as well. Figures since I lost 2 lbs. Maybe its in my head? You'd think that ONE time I could get one of those side effects of loss of appetite. Yeah, not me.
Eats for today:
Hungry as usual so I scarfed down a handful of granola before I left the house
Coffee w/ cream
1/2 slice of Arnold Double Protein bread w/ Skippy Natural and Banana
Apple and Cheese Stick
Chobani w/ PB2 and granola and Pure Protein Bar
1/2 protein bar on the way to the gym, other half on the way home
Morning Star Farms black bean burger on an Arnold thin w/ cheese and salsa
Found an interesting treat. Frozen Greek Yogurt bars by Yasso. I had the strawberry. It was pretty good. Could have been a little sweeter, but it was a great alternative and something yummy on a pre portioned stick. I have NO portion control when it comes to scooping my own.
Bootcamp tonight...its gonna hurt.

Now I am really amazed that the Vitatops comes in corn bread. Where have I been when these little things made their debut. Mary, please don't let yourself get in a funk. I know how easy it is. Every since I pulled my hernia out, I have gain two pounds. I know it is water retention to heal the hurt area but still it drives me crazy sometimes. I some times now try to think of myself in maintenance even though I have not lost to my goal weight. I think, I am ten pounds from goal or thirteen now, why can't I lose this little bit that is left. Maybe my body likes where it is at. I have decide to practice maintenance. If I can maintain, which is harder to me than losing, then maybe later I can lose five pounds and maintain again.
Have you taken your measurements lately. I have noticed that even though I am maintaining, all of my size 12 shorts are starting to hang on me. I mentioned it to my hubby and he said get a belt. No new clothes for me.. I hope you have a terrific day and get your butt workout tonight.

DARN!! Would have been great if he offered to take you shopping!
I'll be better once I get going in bootcamp tonight. There are alot of things going on.
My husband is still out of work. Been since Christmas. It would really be great if he could find something! He has 156 outstanding applications out. Only one real call back.
I just really need a vacation. I need some warm sun and a massage.

I was out of town this weekend and it was really nice. My friends have a house in Charleston SC and we went there to check it out. A normal nice house. It was crowded - but nice. Next time we know where the house is so I can just go there with my BF even if nobody else is there. I am looking forward to explore the Charleston area.
I ate well (proper food and not too much) ... but I gave into some wine and brandy. Just enough to help digestion and sleep. Not enough to get drunk. So all is good.
Back home on Sunday evening.
The "Summer house" is only 3-3.5 hrs drive from my house - so weekend trips will be easy.
Eats today:
protein bar, almonds
coffee with almond milk
quest bar
salad with pork roast
proteins shake
pork roast with mushroom sauce.

Hi Hala:
I got to spend three days in Charleston about 15 years ago with a ten year old and a toddler. I did have fun and going out to Fort Sumnter was a blast. Coming back, not so good. The toddler had an accident all over my shorts and down my leg. If you take a tour boat ride out to the Fort be sure and look at the tiny 8" sink in the bathroom. I cleaned him up and jumped in the ocean when we docked to clean myself up. Life is full of aventures and I have had my share. I would love to go back there with just my hubby and myself. I think I would enjoy it more then. Have a great day!
