I was just reading on Vit D. And I found:

Hypertension
Low levels of vitamin D may play a role in the development of high blood pressure. It has been noted that blood pressure is often elevated under the following conditions: during the winter season, at a further distance from the equator, and in individuals with dark skin pigmentation (all of which are associated with lower production of vitamin D via sunlight). However, the evidence is not clear, and a comparison with more proven methods to reduce blood pressure has not been conducted. Patients with elevated blood pressure should be managed by a licensed healthcare professional

I'm overjoyed it's Friday!  Rainy and cool but I don't care...becaause it's Friday!

A week from today, I have surgery.  Surgeon is confident he can do it Da Vinci lap for only a two-week recovery but he can do it open (and a 6-week recovery) if necessary.  Working out support for mornings when 22 pound 18-month-old needs out of her crib etc., and I have the 8-week 10-pound limit.  (Hubby leaves for work before 6am).  NO idea what this will do to weight loss efforts but I'll just keep plugging away no matter what.

B - protein coffee
S - protein drink with almond milk
L - chili (and chopped veggie salad if still hungry)
S - asparagus, cheese
D - unknown protein and veggie
S - beloved protein bar

Have a wonderful weekend, BOTTS

Hysterectomy.  May sound odd, but I am REALLY looking forward to this surgery.

Rainy and cloudy. went to dinner last night and had a good time with my GF.  WE ate good food, had a glass of wine (she had couple more) and stories she shared... lol... Good time.
Tonight, My BF and I are going out of town to Charleston, SC... and it will be rainy weekend in a beautiful place...so I am not really happy about that.
But ... the good point is that I will see my friends new "beach house". Know where it is and ....since they already gave me a key and told me that I can go there anytime.... well... not too bad...  And spending time with my friends and my BF - priceless.

eats :
wrap with cheese and Canadian bacon
protein shake
protein shake
pork rinds (they are not bad: proteins and less fat than nuts, no carbs. )
jambalaya or pork loin and mushroom sauce.

Weekend - I will be snacking on pork rinds, nuts and eat good food.

I will skip the quest bars. They are great - but they give me a lot of gas.  Gas and company - do not mix.

Speaking of gas and company, my husband and I were taking a walk around the neighborhood yesterday when I let a silent one go.  I thought he was going to embarrass me to death.  He said with that smell, I could take out every pitbull in the neighborhood.  Well Excuseeeeee me!!!!
